  1. That engine looks really clean! Would do nicely in the lifted. I think i know someone who has a lift kit that could go on there -Brian
  2. Found them on a EA81 Sedan at the local junkyard. Dont know who make them, but i can tell you they definatly do not use the stock Subaru lug nuts. -Brian
  3. JIbs you can have them back. Trade you your brat The lugs are special. ive never seen any like them before. The reason it looks like there is one missing on the front is because one is a locking lug and it doesnt show as well. On the rear, it is missing Im hoping after I put the RX springs in it will lift the front end alittle. I really do like the way these rims make my car look tho -Brian
  4. THats the 1st ive heard that. So far, you and me are the only ones who like it (out of all my friends ive shown so far). I like it better too. I think it gives the car a more "rally" look. I am thinking of getting some Kumho R700 rally tires for them. So far its solved 98% of the rubbing. Turning into a parkinglot still gets me a couple times. -Brian
  5. Junkyard run and i think i found what I needed. No more wheel rub. -Brian
  6. Well, i went to the yard and picked up a set of those rims. I have some 185/75R13's to have mounted to them. That should solve the rubbing for now. Miles, my fender is already fuct The RX in the JY was mashed up anyway. Will standard GL fenders still fit? -Brian
  7. Alittle history... If it werent for BillyC, the USMB would have never existed. Too bad he screwed us. But for people who do not know... he used to own the USMB before he gave it to Shawn. -Brian
  8. Yeah.... sorry but I was sleeping. Hello, welcome. -Brian
  9. Let me know what I owe ya Dave. I gotta start ballancing my budget and set finances for the show. Going to be a cheap show for me this year, i gotta keep saving to move. -Brian
  10. Lets hope she treats you nicer than the Impreza did (at times). Watch out for parking it under the carport in the winter -Brian p.s. do something about those rims
  11. Yeah, im down. Anything's gotta be better than sleeping in the RX -Brian
  12. Actually... to correct you... there are NO turbo Legacy Wagons in '91. The 1st Turbo Legacy Wagon was introduced in 1992 and ran until 1994. In '91 the only thing turbo were Sedans. -Brian p.s. and no... the Ti is not a turbo model. Its just a glorified L. You would have known if it were a turbo, there would be a scoop on the hood. No need to lift it, only turbo's came with scoops.
  13. We plan on meeting at 9AM on Sunday June 26th. We'll be meeting at Sierra College Blvd & I-80 at 9am, departure no later than 9:15am. From there we'll travel to Auburn and hit highway 49, then travel south to highway 193 where we'll head to Georgetown. Once we get to Georgetown we're going to get on Wentworth springs rd. and travel to Icehouse, where we can make it to highway 50. If time permits, we may get off highway 50 in Placerville and travel south to Union Mine Road and continue south to highway 16 where we can then travel back to Sacramento via Sunrise Blvd. Entire trip will be aprox 170 miles and we plan on stopping for lunch long the way. Any subaru is welcome, but the trip is going to be pretty twisty up and downhill on some 2 lane highway through the mountains and woods. Currently we have my RX, a couple Turbo Legacy's and a Modified 2.5RS comming along. Anyone interested in joining up with us, please send me a PM or reply here so we know to wait for you -Brian
  14. Quick question and im sick of searching for the answer. Does anyone know what a RX Coupe weighs? -Brian
  15. It probably could... but i dont know. Ive never heard of anyone installing an intercooler for a N/A engine. -Brian
  16. Damn!! I could have gotten you a parts car for free. Had a crate engine from japan in it with 80k on it. Oh well... Look into a company called "Rising Sun Engines" they import 60k EA's from japan and you can probably get one for under $450 -Brian
  17. Would do almost no good unless your car was turbocharged. You can sell it off and make a good profit. I paid $40 for my Saab 900 IC. They are almost perfect for EA82 Turbo cars because the inlet and outlet are the exact same size as our Throttle Body. Here's mine installed: -Brian
  18. The junkyards here charge you $2 to enter. Regardless if you buy anything or not. They'd be stupid to turn people away. How are you supposed to check for the part you want, if they wont let you enter. Tell them, you are looking for an oil pump -Brian
  19. You can find a generic pump pretty cheap. Try to find the fuel pressure specs and match them to a pump at Napa. Might be able to get one for under $40. If you've hard-wired your pump and still nothing... then yes, its dead. -Brian
  20. Uhm... dont we already have magnetic drainplugs? I know the tranny plug is magnetic. -Brian
  21. I was looking at my Intercooler and I think if I reposition it I could fit a strut bar under the hood. Might need to get alittle more creative with the piping, but im sure it can be done. If you find one before me eddy, let me know I want one. -Brian
  22. Yeah, i saw that one... also saw one in white, one in Yellow and a couple blue ones. Hope your friend finds his car. -Brian
  23. If you did the 5lug conversion, those struts would almost boltin. -Brian
