  4. Went to the store today to get the stuff I was after... and the clerk asked if it was Hitachi or Nipo. I didnt know off hand and instead of wasting her time I told her I'd return. I thought Subaru would have picked one by 1987 and I wouldnt have to worry about it. How can I tell which disty I have? -Brian
  5. The very 1st 4WD that Subaru offered was in the 1972 Station Wagons. 1975 Might be when they were imported to the US, but FHI themselfs say it's so :-p FHI History 1970-1979 The 1st Brat was introduced in 1977 and all brats from production start to production end were 4WD. There are some very rare Gen1 Brats overseas offered as 2WD but mostly for delivery and hauling. -Brian

  7. Was playing with this new MP3 service I got and Im going through the Jethro Tull Collection. While sampling one of my favorite songs I start listening to other songs on the album and one I come across is titled "4.W.D. (Low Ratio)". I queued it up and am listening to it now. Kinda hard to make out what Ian Anderson is saying but I found the lyrics online. http://www.davemcnally.com/lyrics/JethroTull/4WD(LOWRATIO).asp I could probably share the MP3 too.... gimme a sec to put it somewhere. -Brian Not many can stand Jethro Tull... but for the few of us who can, here's the song 4wd.mp3

  15. Damn Austin. I was just about to move up your way and now you go and clear out of the state. I understand though, gotta get out and on your own Its a great thing, believe me. Anyhow, dont know about any jobs or homes in MN but if your looking for a trailer I'd check with rental yards. Our yard sells off the old equipment, and my manager just got a license to sell trailers. Some arent cheap, but they're guarantee'd to get you to your destination. -Brian

  19. JB if you want to wait until Thursday morning or Wednesday Night to take off... you and I could leave sacramento at the same time. Since you do have to come to my house to get the shell. I believe i got thurs-tues off so I could leave as early as 7pm Wednesday night. If you can keep up we should be able to make it to Weed to crash and then thursday morning take off for portland. -Brian
  20. Come to think of it, my AC is on. Even tho the AC doesnt exist I have it on that setting and that could be the reason its higher idle. I'll change that and see if it drops. -Brian
