  2. A dude by the name of Douglas Vincent has a supercharged Legacy Wagon in washington. I met him at the WCSS and spoke to him a little on the legacy board. he's the one who bought my AWIC and he has it in use on the supercharged EJ22. he's done alot of fabbing and testing to get it almost right. look him up on bbs.legacycentral.org -Brian
  3. JB ive spent alittle time in Portland but I dont know whats there to do. If we get there early enough maybe we can get together with some of the local's and maybe setup a dinner or something. Dave, you have an idea of what time you'd be rolling in thursday night? -Brian
  4. True, it does suck to wake up on the ground... or from in the car, then drive another 5 hours How many people plan on traveling with a CB? I know me and JB will have one. -Brian

  8. Damn Austin. I was just about to move up your way and now you go and clear out of the state. I understand though, gotta get out and on your own Its a great thing, believe me. Anyhow, dont know about any jobs or homes in MN but if your looking for a trailer I'd check with rental yards. Our yard sells off the old equipment, and my manager just got a license to sell trailers. Some arent cheap, but they're guarantee'd to get you to your destination. -Brian
  9. we can all catch up in portland and have a huge caravan. Dave probably remembers the MASSIVE caravan we gathered in Eugene for the WCSS3. -Brian
  10. If the timing is not to stock specs, it will fail. I must keep it at 20 degree's +/- 2. There is no AC compressor. -Brian

  12. You wont find anything better than the FSM. But i would have to say Chiltons is better than Haynes. -Brian
  13. JB if you want to wait until Thursday morning or Wednesday Night to take off... you and I could leave sacramento at the same time. Since you do have to come to my house to get the shell. I believe i got thurs-tues off so I could leave as early as 7pm Wednesday night. If you can keep up we should be able to make it to Weed to crash and then thursday morning take off for portland. -Brian
  14. Come to think of it, my AC is on. Even tho the AC doesnt exist I have it on that setting and that could be the reason its higher idle. I'll change that and see if it drops. -Brian
  15. Maybe your right. Brad, Im going to try to meet with you guys on friday for the drive up. Was going to red-eye it the whole way to Portland and just crash there. -Brian
  16. Eric is right. The BYB lift includes a 3" spacer to retain the front skid plate. You dont need to worry about your oilpan -Brian
  17. Mike... I MISS MY BRAT!! hehehe, im still kicking myself for selling it, but Im glad its doing you good. I just took the car back to get smogged and they couldnt smog it cause they say its idling too high. Idling is fluctuating between 1200-1300rpm and stock is 700rpm. The mechanic said he tried to drop the RPM but the ECU is overiding it... and it wont drop. Any suggestions? He didnt do an idle test, but he tested it at 2500rpm and it failed HC. Its allowed 140 and at 2578rpm its blowing 276 -Brian
  18. We left eugene at 7am and arived at Olympia around 2pm. Im thinking I want to be at the show earlier than 2pm So i might be sleeping overnight in portland. Of course... if theres going to be a huge caravan crashed in Eugene I see no reason to pass you guys by We'll see what happens. -Brian
  19. You guys are going to overnight in Eugene? I was going to try to get further before I crashed... but Eugene to Oly isnt long... maybe I'll catch up with you guys there. -Brian
  20. I was looking at the V700's when I bought my tires... but the price with shipping was more than a local tire shops... so I went with a generic tire and the RX is happy. Anyhow, im sure those tires will be plenty for you. -Brian
  21. Im speaking from experience. Dont forget, I stuffed my Turbo Legacy into a guard rail :\ Albeit the damage was nothing like yours... it still scared me into buying good tires when I bought my RX. -Brian
  22. Betcha a set of 15x8 with Falkens would make it harder to skid into an object -Brian
  23. Ive loved the dual front ebrake since I saw it in Mike W's hatch. From what I understand, its a difficult art to master on the trail. -Brian
