  1. Looks alot better than when we went wheeling in it. He might have removed the digi dash, but hey... he added a 8" lift and tires -Brian
  2. Yes Signature looks great. -Brian
  3. Yeah... uh....kidding... thats it I probably wont ever do it, but had to do the photoshop to ease my curiosity. But My next off-road rig will have that tir/rim combo. -Brian
  4. After seeing Rob's new addition last night, it must have sparked something Had a dream about another off-road rig... what do you guys think? ) -Brian
  5. Goto the junkyard and find a EA81 with a 2BBL hitachi. Then take its intake manifold. Then order a Weber DGEV 32/36 with an adapter for a EA81 Subaru. Bolt everything to the intake and swap your intake manifolds. -Brian
  6. Just make the images smaller and you should be able to fit all 4 no problem -Brian
  7. Does this mean your signature is going to get even wider? Not sure if my monitor will handle a 1768x1024 resolution ) Great lookin rig, no doubt that thing will follow the HP everywhere they go. -Brian
  8. Naw, havent paid any attention to the rear CV. Its the inner boot and the CV will probably last years without it. The fronts need replacing soon, along with the brakes and clutch. Those are top on the list. -Brian
  9. Seriously doubt anything is bent or broken. The car was on rails before the tire swap. I have yet to check the tire pressure, but Im going to. The car is starting to veer to the right when i brake... I found a set of XT struts, im not going to mess with my rear struts but Im planning on keeping the RX springs. -Brian
  10. In snow, binding should be almost non-existant. Even with miss-matched tires. -Brian
  11. Yeah, got the RX a few weeks ago. Thought I told you, guess I didnt I got it in Berkley and was thinking of commin to show you, but wanted to get it home NIce new BMW. We'll have to go head-to-head when both of us are done. -Brian
  12. Same #, and I think i still got you in my phone. Will remain in touch via Email. -Brian
  13. I really should. Chances are the shop who did the tires left one low. My front struts are also getting worn bad. I will have to get some XT struts to replace them with. I'll be working Saturday until 5pm. Sunday until 2pm. I only get one day off a week now until we hire more guys... so trying to do anything soon will be a hassle. Ive been down to SF a few times, and actually pretty close to your pad, was going to call you but figured you were busy. Maybe this wednesday I can make a day trip down there... Gotta switch up on the Junkyards anyhow -Brian
  14. Noticed today that the rear end likes to kick out alittle more (maybe its just me pushing the car harder) but it felt as if the rear was tracking to the right. Ive noticed that the car likes to drift more as well... it will follow the groves in the road more. I suspect its cause the tires are 195's and grippier, but feels as if the steering is spongy, so sometimes I over-correct when I try to pull out of the groves. The RX used to be very nimble with the 13" rims and 185's, i could turn on a dime and it was pin-point accuracy. Now all of that has seemed to change... car is getting alittle sloppy. :-\ Anyone have any idea's how to fix this without going back to ugly 13" steel rims? -Brian
  15. Great stuff, but man those prices are killing me. -Brian
  16. About to do the signature update soon. Gotta get rid of that old pic of the RX. Not much left to photoshop now The car is almost 100% the way I want it. Just needs some XT front struts, and new RX decals and Im set. -Brian
  17. They're 15" rims. I have a set of 14" i was thinking of putting snowtires on to use for rally (or get rally tires to use on snow). The 195's i have on the car are wide enough for my liking. I was originally planning on getting 205/50's but the tire shop didnt have any in stock. The 195/50's are .5" smaller than 185/70R13's i had on it before, and I can tell the difference. Seems the car is sitting alittle lower, and as soon as I find a 2WD XT the car will sit even lower than it is now. Oh, and while swapping the rear tires... i noticed my RX has KYB GR2's in the rear Thanks russ. -Brian
  18. Really. might have to come check it out. Dont let JB know or he'll snatch it up -Brian
  19. The lifted wagon will live on in Brat form. It will be dismantled when I have a brat to put the lift on. -Brian
  20. A rebuilt one will cost alot, but not $650. Dunno where to go, dave got one from Roobuilders i think. -Brian
  21. So your little carb advetures didnt work out? -Brian
  22. I did get my shoes wet, but wasnt deep enough to get my feet wet. I was thinking of setting the camera on MOvie mode and put it on the ground, then shoot myself driving through the water back to shore. That section is very shallow, ive been there before with other cars... and have gotten the "walk on water" shot. -Brian
  23. Do you have an engine to put this all on? -Brian
