  1. From what i understand, the fuel pump wont pump unless the alt is being turned. -Brian
  2. What should i use to clean the Maf? Its got a new rotor and disty cap, so im sure the contacts are still good. Maybe I'll upgrade my wires to 8mm when I get a new coil. -Brian
  3. Ive noticed lately that my car has a small bit of hesitation, but only until i get above 0psi. Once its got positive boost it seems to stop alltogether and pull. Kinda sucks when I want to mosey down the road. If i want it to drive flawlessly i have to floor it (not too opposed to that). Its had its basic tuneup. -Brian
  4. I assume, since you have to swap those parts for the 5 lug swap, that they are not the same and do not interchange. -Brian
  5. I had another BOV off a saab 900 in my hands. It came off a newer model than the one i got. It had some wire pinouts on top with a plug on it. Wonder what all that was about? -Brian
  6. Krazy, your installation looks great. I think i'll mimic that. I cant wait, tomorrow i will search for more tubing and pipe to use. Then get to work making mounts for the IC. -Brian
  7. Im sure people have, im almost positive people have. Ive heard of them in Legacy's and EA82's. Ive got one sitting in the garage right now as a matter of fact, it will be going into my RX. -Brian
  8. Glad to see you made it home unscathed Russ. Was good to meet up with you again and Im glad i did Now the RX has a new toy. I hope to have it installed before too long, then to find some of that snow i heard was in the mountains. -Brian
  9. I could use a head bolt socket and a valve adjusting tool. I hope they're the same for EA81 & EA82's. -Brian
  10. Awesome, thanks -Brian
  11. So, should i disable that diaphram then? That pipe you gave me will need to be modified some, but Im sure i can use the piece with the nipple on it. I was searching volvo's and saabs for some more pipe, but didnt find anything that looked like it'd work. I might just go get some PVC and do it that way. -Brian
  12. woohoo!! SHould i disable the BPV on the EA82T before isntalling this? Also, could anyone give me some pointers on how to install it and where is the best place? -Brian
  13. WOOT! We're on a roll. I got my BOV Today and im ready to start plumbing everything in for the IC install. -Brian
  14. I pulled it from a Saab 900 today in the yard. Came from the intake manifold and the nipple on the top had a hose from behind the TB, while there was a larger hose comming off the bottom to just infront of the TB. I assumed it was the Blow off Valve, so I nabbed it. Just looking for a positive ID. -Brian
  15. This is something im interested in doing. I'd like to fit a caliper and see if the rotors will need work. -Brian
  16. Yeah, make sure your not using it on pavement and all will be good. The reason its hard to disengage is the built up tension inside the tranny. Reverse will releave it. -Brian
  17. Condensation in the distributor cap... or a weak coil. For some reason, rain or humidity seems to bring out the crap in weak coils. Ive had a couple coils puke, and they've all happend after a heavy rainfall. -Brian
  18. Use gasoline. Gasoline wont freeze, it will just get very very cold -Brian
  19. Cooper Discoverer STT's. Those were the cheapest deal i could find. I ended up going to Coopers website where i found the tires, and looked up local dealers. I called a list of them until i found the best price. I got the 205/75R14's that measure 26.1". Perfect for my 3" lift and alloy rims. The shop that had them, had them sitting collecting dust. He sold 4 to me for $300 mounted. -Brian
  20. Here's a crazy idea... have you called the police? Put him in jail maybe? How about camera's to watch the grounds. -Brian
  21. Brake drag... bad bearings... even a tire thats worn out more than any others will cause it too. -Brian
  22. I felt the same way when my Brat was stolen. If my window had been broken out, i'd be searching for the guy right now. Questioning everyone on the block, and installing survielance camera's. Im still planning on installing my AMP and looking for some sub's. But hopefully whoever did this will remember my car and think "oh, already got that one" and move on. -Brian
  23. Excuse me while I go puke all over the place. -Brian
  24. Damn, and I thought I had a problem with crack heads. The neigbors who had their truck stolen are certified crack heads (tried to sell crack to me and my roomates in the past). The wierd thing is, the truck they say was stolen... i havent seen in almost a week. So im not sure if its something they setup or what. Im not going to stress too much over it. I'll be talking to my roomates about moving tho. I found an apartment that has a larger garage im interested in. We'll see what happens. -Brian
  25. Ive experimented with that pin out cause i wanted to hook it up to a computer, and run MP3's. I found the left & right channel, but I couldnt find a way to mute the AM/FM stereo while playing through the ports. I would suggest going to the junkyard and finding a car with the tape deck. Then cut that plug off the cassette deck, and splice the wires. Play around with it until you find something that works -Brian
