  5. Ok, i cant get the weeked of the 14th off. the 14th is blocked and the 16th is blocked. Meaning i wont be able to have a Monday off. I can make it on the weekend of the 7th-8th... but i thought i remembered someone saying that weekend wasnt good for them. Who here is up for a trail run on the weekend of the 7th-8th? -Brian
  6. last time i had to get an alternator from the yard, i picked up two good alts. Then walked up to the counter and found out it was 1/2 price weekend. Ended up getting both alts for $17. -Brian
  7. Sweet... takes care of that. Only thing left is to secure the time off and get the money for gas. -Brian
  8. If anybody here has equipment on their rig that was made by Soobme (Tony Bowers) please reply here with a testimonial. I would like to use them for the webpage im putting together for him. If you have a picture of your car with the equipment on it, please attatch the image to the post. I would love to use that as well. I myself have a TWB Soobfari Roof Rack, and I absolutly love it. I could grab ahold of it and flip my car if i wanted to, and Im not affraid to pile a few hundred pounds ontop of it. The fabrication and quality of the product is A++, i coudlnt be happier. Of course, pictures can be found at http://twb.usmb.net -Brian
  9. AWESOME!!! Im planning on Feb 14th, 15th and 16th. Leave Sac late on Friday the 13th, leave OR on Monday the 16th sometime. Will need to make arangements for sleeping... are there many low budget motels in Medford? Also... if people need parts... lemme know. I can prolly drag some stuff up with me. -Brian
  10. My breaker bar is made by Craftsman, so I dont really care if it breaks Havent broken one yet, and i put them through hell when im at the yard. That tool would come in handy tho, looks alot lighter than my breaker bar and 36mm socket. -Brian
  11. Hopefully sooner than that. Depends on how long it takes Tony to make a bumper Then i can install it. Im thinkin of taking 4 days off. Possibly Saturday through Tuesday. How's the wheelin up there about now? -Brian
  12. 505 yes, not sure about 405 tho. Those rims definatly dont look like 4x140mm tho. -Brian
  13. Unless you have a Peugeot, they wont do you much good. -Brian
  14. Where in california do you live? Here when they smogged my Car, the tech set the parking brake. Good thing i was standing next to him, and caught it. If I wouldnt have, he would have ruined my brakes. -Brian
  15. Going to drive from Sac to Medford to pick up some stuff from Tony. Would love to do some wheelin while im there. I can tell there's a large group forming in Medford, so shouldn't be difficult to organize a gathering. Im thinking maybe Early to Mid Febuary right now. -Brian
  16. My fuel pump has 2 wires going to it, pos and neg. Both are black but one has a white stripe. Does anyone know which is Postitive? -Brian
  17. The PnP in carson city is off of 50 headed away from Tahoe. There are maps at http://www.pickandpull.com That 90 Loyale will have almost nothing that you need, other than the engine. I wish you woulda been on the board about 2 months ago, i had a 1989 GL10 Turbo Wagon that was rotting here. Had the FT4WD 5spd with center diff lock (AWD with locking center pretty much), EA82T, plush interior... everything but the LSD. Woulda let it go cheap, but the state towed it. -Brian
  18. Family 1st buddy. We know your not gonna disapear on us. Good luck with everything -Brian
  19. Actually, you kinda really need the sway bar. It helps the car perform better, and reduces understeer. -Brian
  20. Its not the sensor thats bad, my guage is bad. If i put the stock sensor back in, i have no idea how hot my engine is running. -Brian
  21. I installed an aftermarket coolant temp guage, and it came with its own manual temp sensor. I had to remove the stock sensor and unplug it of course. Now when i drive the car for more than 10 or 15min, my ECS light comes on. Ive plugged the plug back into the stock temp sensor, and that solved the problem for a while, but now its back. Is there anyway to bypass this? -Brian
  22. The boggers look awesome, and would look great on your rig, but for the wheeling your going to do in AZ the Goodyears are the way to go. A buddy of mine has a set on his CJ7, and runs them below 5psi (with beadlocks of course) and can go over anything with them. -Brian
  23. YEah, with the EA82T you gotta keep it near 3000-4000 to make power. Not sure what will happen if you run past redline, but as long as you dont do it every day for a prolonged amount of time i dont think much damage can come of it. Dont quote me on that tho. -Brian
  24. Is it a carbbed EA82? Or MPFI/SPFI? If its carbbed, put a weber on there. -Brian
