Yeah, just replace whatever layers you would have added in clearcoat, with additional layers of paint. Ive only used clearcoat once on rims, and that is cause I masked them after a few coats, and when i lifted the tape it ruined the finish of the paint. So i added a couple coats of clear to bring the gloss back.

You know the saying, you get what you pay for. I will continue to search and report back here.

YEah as soon as I installed it, i heard some fizzling and then saw smoke comming from inside the unit. It was an extremely cheap piece. There were no RCA pre-amp outputs. No RMS rating and entire stereo felt cheap and ready to break. I sent it back for a full refund, and now my truck is without a stereo

Tell the parts guy you have a 1987 RX Turbo. 110% of every RX ever made came from the factory with rear disc brakes. Anything listed in their computer will work for your setup.

I say somewhere off Highway 50, that way its kinda a equal drive for everybody. where was the place you took your Scout? Is that subaru safe?

I tried to put a Gen2 A Bar on my very first Subaru which was a '79. It would not fit. The engine crossmember on the Gen2's are wider.

What does it do to the lower control arm after you pretzel a radius rod like that? I bent one once, and it tweaked the lower control arm and its mount. Even after replacing the radius rod & control arm, the car never drove straight again.

Here are a couple decent shots recently of the truck with the hood on. You may notice there is a strap that runs behind my grill. That is holding my hood shut. I think I am going to have to invest in a set of hoodpins soon. Soon I will be forced to do something for front & rear bumpers.

Which is good, less moving parts the better. And the cooler. Also USB & SD Cards do not skip

You'll have better results starting off with the coupe. Its 2door already and will look propper.

I have to fold the antenna down or else it hits the top of the garage door when i pull the truck in. I just fold it forward and stuff the tip under the roof of the cab. With the spring installed where it is, it works nicely and nothing takes damage.

So far I have: Spare Alternator(s) pair of front wheel bearings, & seals spare CV.... or a BIG hammer Various brake parts belts, lug nuts, etc... Fluids (ATF, 10w30, Water) Mike you remember how to get to my place? Im not sure if I am going to spend the night in Reno just yet, or just shoot up I5 from Sacramento.
