  7. need to find a source for M12x1.25-130mm bolts, having a hard time finding these bolts anyone have a source?
  8. I remove the nut , then smack the arm its bolted to not the ball joint threaded part, what this does is causes the tapered hole in the arm to flex a bit and the ball joint will fall out
  9. never thought of a neon I happen to have a old set of those
  10. Im in the process of putting legacy running gear under a ea82 turbo , on the front to extend the strut I have unbolted the 2 bottom strut bolts and and extending it in that area will add a extendo peice and 2 more bolts , all steel , this will give plenty of room with the 31" tires ,will share pics as it comes along
  11. on the rims we did we didnt bevel the 2 extra holes just turned those 2 lug nuts over and used them like a normal nut
  12. I have been running my white car EA82 all year since January with a 3-1/2" lift at the strut and 2" lift at the engine which gives the axles and the lower control arm a increased angle by 1-1/2" ,it has the same axles in it that where in the car when I got it stock , I have had no issues with axle or tire wear and I have had this car extremly hard offroad without a axle failure . SJR
  13. looks like I might get it back Rollie picked up a blue one and it looks like hes going to strip all the goodies off this one and I will get it back if thats the case I have a EJ22 in the shop that needs a home and I would like to develope a Nissan transfercase lift kit and this just may be the ginnie pig, I really like the white wheels on this paint skeem , this was taken the day I got my swampers and I was stoked
  14. what kind of driving are you going to be doing? will this be a sandrail with subbie power? if its mainly a dune runner go with the legacy ej type parts if its a woods trail rig go with a trans that has the dual range ( Low Range) I think it would be cool to make a 4x4 rail out of a legacy , nice and light lots of power if your a metal fabficator anything goes
  15. you could remove both rear axles and drive in 4x which would be front wheel drive
  16. well I decided against the Nissan Pickup stuff am going with Legacy axles and suspension , I have a wagon we will be pulling apart , been getting more excited about the build done more work on it in the last few weeks then I did all year, My final crawl ratio will be 154 CR
  17. running the shorter lift as this was the first car to have it installed on and it ended up being my DD . the 6" lift has better geometry then the 3-1/2" as the 3 .5 has higher CV angles , with both lifts we have not had a failed CV yet , my next car Im building will have 8" lift with a T-case but will not be my DD SJR
  18. I have a 91 Legacy with 14" rims wondering what wheels would fit from what years , did subaru make a 15" or 16" rim? in steel or alloy ? thanks
