  5. If you could somehow slip a lockable touque converter between the stock soobie engine and a Dual/Range I think you would have something, years ago I built a buggy out of datsun 2wd truck running gear, its a automatic and I love it, it goes almost anywhere with 33" rear tires

  8. heres a ea81 with no lift, cranked the torsion bar in back , the tires are 215/75-15 , sawsalled a bit
  9. thinking about this look:eek:
  10. Im really liking it with the roof still on, Its probably going to stay, need to saw off some more stuff , put a few bars on the back and sides , It really goes good with the extra weight removed and no rear hangin out , got used to a welded diff on the white car, already got stuck a few times without it in this car, I think thats next ,and lift the rear a few , maybe tonight
  11. I noticed this is in the " Older Generation of Soobs"
  12. whatever you got , go out and have fun with it , my present road car( white EA82) has 3-1/2" lift at the frontstruts, I have kept the front radius rod mounts up in the stock place and modified the radius rods, I have dropped the engine cross member 2" and the tranny mount 1-1/2" , so on the front theres a extra 3-1/2" at the body and a extra 1-1/2" extra at the y pipe over stock, at the rear the only thing dropped is the diff 2" at front and 3" at rear with the shocks lifted 4" , so all that plus whats gained by tire size lets me go places I never could go with the all stock set up, throw in a welded diff and some mud tires and it makes for a great trail rig:brow: enjoy:cool:
  13. nice job, wheres the air intake end up and airfilter?
  14. $300,000 comes with house:grin:
