  1. http://sites.rapidus.net/labrecqj/justywrx/english.html here's the site that jerry was talking about..(justy with wrx engine) if you do go through with it.your gonna have to make sure that pics an vid is posted..
  2. more then likely sometime next week.91loyale wants to come join up as soon as his soob is safe.. that was just the beginning of the trail.was mainly scouting it out as to if it was really a class 6 road or private.while scouting,i came across a house that's on the road leading to the trail and i stopped to ask a women in the yard as to weather or not it was a private road.(this is what she said)-"nope.it's just a class 6 road, but you might wanna be careful with your car"..i almost said-"no worries,it's a soob"
  3. still waiting for pics..... dang,wish i could find such a deal.wait i did,my 94 justy with 54,000 for only $175. bucks...
  4. http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c34/beretta92d/Image002.jpg (leads to jeep trail) http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c34/beretta92d/notsurewhereitgoes.jpg class 6 road continues up this road (class 6 road, goes to right.straight up is atv an bike trail) http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.aspx?T=2&S=11&Z=19&X=763&Y=11931&W=1&qs=whitetall+road%7chooksett%7cnh%7c&Addr=Whitehall+Rd%2c+Hooksett%2c+NH+03106&ALon=-71.4364568&ALat=43.0462939 (small dotted line is jeep trail) http://terraserver.microsoft.com/image.aspx?T=2&S=11&Z=19&X=766&Y=11932&W=1&qs=whitetall+road%7chooksett%7cnh%7c&Addr=Whitehall+Rd%2c+Hooksett%2c+NH+03106&ALon=-71.4364568&ALat=43.0462939
  5. looks good btw-you don't have a close up pic on how you mounted that shackle(d-ring) in the front?
  6. you could try hitting the j/y an see if they have any loyales with skid plates.they don't weigh much. that's somewhat how i put a skid plate on my 94 leg..though i didn't go to j/y for mine.(click pics below) rear skid plate mounting location.in the front,i just drilled an screwed it to the bottom of the rad support. skid plate in place. these two pics are showing how much clearance between plate an oil pan.so far it has saved the pan from getting scraped an dented 3-4 times so far.
  7. have you tried treating the windows with those anti-fog wipes from rain-x? i've been meaning to try em cause the back window area of 94 leg fogs up prett quick.i did find a way to deal with it if i'm sitting in the car while parked..simply open back hatch alittle and it prevents fogging(the work i do requires me to sit in my soob for a period of time)
  8. cool vid. what was the music you used?? (now it's stuck in my head) yup, gotta agree with ya on that point.
  9. over at legacy central, someone has a link to pics that he took.alot are hi-res pics..(no video though) http://www.42motorsports.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=311 though not in the mud pit,i thought i saw your leg in the line up w/hood open(back side facing cam,the one next to the wagon)
  10. well here's an update on my oil burning ej22... well after picking up the plugs/air filter and pvc and proceeding to leave the parking lot.i noticed the engine wasn't running right..sputtering and what not.well i got her home and proceeded to change the plugs.1st one out was good(normal wear) well the next one out would explain the sputtering and feel of running on 3 cylinders..it was covered with oil an sludge.. apparently my valve stem oil seals need replaceing (so said my soob mech friend) and of course the news he told me didn't make me any happier...on how the engine has to come out in order to do the head work. :banghead: i guess that would explain were my oil is going :-\ oh ya an i could only replace 3 plugs cause the 4th has a heli coil on it and i was sure if it would be a good idea to try and swith the heli over to new plug...
  11. the belly button is part of a trail called hells revenge.which is at moab. it does look difficult...
  12. is there a chance that running upper engine cleaner could cause probs with pvc? it wasn't recent but i put in a new pvc awhile back. i'm picking up a new one anyway tomorrow along with new plugs and air filter...gonna have to wait for wires until next payday. and as far as i remember, she has blown smoke every time i'd rev up the engine at least ever since i've owned her(3yrs). here's the stock vid. http://s24.photobucket.com/albums/c34/beretta92d/?action=view&current=stockexhaust.flv
  13. i'll see if i can find tri-flow and give it a try.locks may still need some lubing.. oh btw-key only cost me $4.75(was quoted $6 over the phone) and i got a complimentary (blue)travel mug with the dealerships name on it..(they usually sell them for $5,must of had extras)
  14. not to awaken an old thread but...here's an update. finally got around to getting a new key cut via vin and works a heck of alot better then the vin cut sti key i have..works on all the locks. compared the two together an there's a big difference in how the cut is.alot finer cuts on the new compared to what looks like just chunks cut off sti key (if that makes sence)
  15. that's the only time she smokes.almost like when engine's not running, oil is dripping into combustion chamber and collecting on top off piston.and when i start the engine, oil gets burnt(or something like that) vavle stem seals sound easier to replace then rings..
  16. Definition: The Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve is an emissions control device that routes unburned crankcase blowby gases back into the intake manifold where they can be reburned.
  17. that's how i got into my gl-10.didn't chime when the key was in the ignition and was always leaving the keys inside...(3-4 times) glad to hear you got back in.. (good thing your seat backs weren't locked)
  18. my 94 has the 1xx,xxx.x mark on the odometer.so i assume the 93 does too..
  19. i hope not..hoping one or so might be stuck. anyone ever add a quart of trans fluid into oil,run for a bit then change oil? (that's what my mechanic mentioned doing and he has worked on soobs for some time now, like 15-20yrs)
  20. i have same prob.called dealership parts dept about wiper rebuild kit and found out there is none.gotta buy whole assembly,at about $90 a side..
  21. http://s24.photobucket.com/albums/c34/beretta92d/?action=view&current=exhaustsmoke.flv wasn't able to rev to high due to neighboors, only got up to 3k (don't mind the beginning) anyone else's soob smoke this much? BTW-she only smokes that much upon start up and with burpping the throttle,is that a bad sign? (engine was warm,so it wasn't just cause of cold start up)
  22. only reason i asked was cause someone i know has/had a 90 leg wagon with pretty much the same mileage except his was tan.he was even asking the same price..
  23. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=62911&highlight=strut+swap i'm sure the anwser will be somewhere in there...
  24. that's almost what i did when my sis locked the keys in the ignition with the engine running..luckly the window was down about an inch which helped greatly... BTW-so did you get in yet???
