  1. you'll also need a installation kit, wiring harness and antenna extension. see how mine turned out.(94 legacy gt wagon) (click me) i don't think i used your tipical install kit.it was given to me by my mechanic.

  4. sorry i should of made it clear to who i was talking to...i was directing that statement towards Hodaka Rider. and yes i've been thinking of joining the club....only if there's no dues :-p and benefits..
  5. ** BUMP ** just as a reminder to all that plan on going... if you worked for a placed like southwest airlines(i'm sure i'll be shortly)you can fly anywhere they do for free.as long as there's a seat open.if i'm working there before WCSS 8 then i might make it.(granted won't have my legacy)
  6. not to mention powerful.i've seen this guy (on dirty-jobs) take a airbag, wired it up and placed it under a 50 gallon metal drum over it.when he set the bag off,it shot the drum up into the air about 10ft.
  7. join the club... you'll have to take pics and post them.
  8. i don't have any real recent pics of my legacys cancer spots.just look at the pics and imagine them about twice as bad..the bottom edge of my tail gate is really bad,i'll snap a pic tomorrow. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=6069&cat=669 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=10931&cat=669 *someone once told me that if you use toothpaste,it'll clean the plastic lens up real nice..* updated pics-http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=10932&cat=669 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=10933&cat=669 http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=10934&cat=669
  9. but isn't always sad when another trail gets closed...? loved the vid clips...what kinda vid equipment did you use? digital camcorder or camera?
  10. Hmm...$8 bucks, maybe i'll give it some better thinking.i just hope i don't need to do any major bending or welding..
  11. Geez, all i have is a stock skid plate from a loyale and it's mounted to the rad support and jackin plate.. i better get a better job so i can start some of these mods....

    that looks really awesome.i'm jealous
  14. there were some of those type of trails in the area,if i wasn't by myself i would of gone down them.but seeing that i didn't feel like doing a recovery alone....(place no equipment to do so:-p ) i'll have to let you know when i can make it over to your area.(which reminds me,i still need to pick up those parts from you)

    '82 leone

now that's what i call "three wheel action" great pics...
  16. yah the pics are to scenic for what i was trying to show...the really bad stuff wasn't accessible with the wagon(to many dang LARGE rocks,atv/dirtbike trails) as far as me minding putting dents in the leg...Heck,i've done that myself(but i'm not proud about my taking my anger out on poor bert).when i find the extra $ to use for gas on the trip to your area,i'll have to give you a shout out...
  17. **Bump** BTW-i just noticed that i'm now over 1,000 posts.... WooT!!
  18. i had no idea that subies can fit on atv trails........ i loved how easy it was to fit my gl on some of the atv trails i've visited..i'm also noticing it's the same with the leg wagon...
  19. +1 was he trying to say something about out IFS/IRS...solid axles will give you more wheel travel but they end up always being the lowest point on your car...you need to have your axles up out of the way.. (click me) granted only 6.5"s of clearance for now.....
  20. it's awesome to see someone that's not affraid to offroad a sti you is like the 2nd person that i've seen that has taken their wrx offroad...
  21. i know this is posted in the video thread but i meant to start a thread for it,so here it is....thought it'd be seen more here.. here is the first time i ever videoed offroading my legacy.this is also the most extreme situation i've ever had her in. *sorry for the shortness of the clip,it was done with my dig cam* here's some pics... --that's where i came down from in the video. --shot taken just before desending...
  22. granted mine's not a EA but i found out that you don't always need the adapters when it come to installing aftermarket radios in subarus.. i used the factory brackets.only thing i needed to buy was wiring harness and antenna extension.. though i did need install kit for the radio in the 86 gl wagon i had yrs back and yes they stick out a bit.i also found out something about how the speakers had to be hooked up a certain way(something about how they are grounded, can't remember)

  24. now you just gotta get a set of tires in that size on the hatch cool videos clips...so what caliber were you shooting,i myself shoot 9mm.
  25. that looks similar to the damage i did to my pan awhile back, but i did mine on my driveway entrance.pulled in just a little to fast and then BANG... of course now that i do have a skid-plate,i haven't had a need for it........(yet)
