  1. I would probably leave the turbo cams in there. It will have improved torque with the carbed bottm end( ie, higher compression).

    Good luck with your build.

  2. Well, a little research and memory goes a long way. As Zap stated they are in Australia. The owner, Glenn, if memory is correct is one of the original partners of BYB. Follow Zaps advice. Do some of the legwork yourself and get the correct story from the source.
  3. They will not fit. The angles and the tie rod end positions are different. Just look for any EA82 knuckle.
  4. I spoke with Albie extensively about this at WCSS10. He is very excited to be starting this back up. A fresh perspective and renewed energy will keep him on top of things. He does need to sort a couple of things out and then he will be ramping up. I expect good things from Albie!
  5. I love reading your adventures to and from the show. Thanks so much for coming so far. Hope to see you guys again next year.
  6. Pull the #1 spark plug. Rotate the engine until it blows compression. Then bring it to TDC. Verify that the distributor is indeed pointing to #1. If that checks out then check the ignition circuit. Including the coil. You stated that you had spark but never the color of the spark. Also, check the fuses to make sure you do not have a blown fuse. I have seen several non-running Subes with bad fuses. Good luck.
  7. Hope you gys made it without issue. Or did Jeff not make it back?!?
  8. We tried to get it wet and rougher. However, the ground there is a peat bog most of the year and water runs through it like crazy. We dumped over 10,000 gallons of water on it and that was the best we could get it. sorry
  9. John Day bridge is one lane on hwy30. They are alternating directions. May be quite slow during the day.
  10. John Day bridge is one lane on hwy30. They are alternating directions. May be quite slow during the day.
  11. No problem. I am not aware of any picnic tables. There may be some but I do not remember seeing them. Good, we will need help setting the pit up. Thanks!! Good idea. Bring your shovel. They think they have enough cinder to make a pit. If not there is a hardware store in town to buy enough. Do not bring rocks from home. Thanks for the help.
  12. Why not ask the people who really know? No BBQ pits. No tables. There will be a large group fire pit which we have to build (could use some volunteers for this). Wood will be provided by WCSS. They are letting us have the pit but we are responsible for it. Just throw a compact or collapsable lawn chair in the trunk.
  13. Please list this in the swap meet thread in meet and greet.
  14. NASIOC has one and we should start one here. If you plan to sell at the swap meet please start a list so people know what will be there and prices you are considering. Once you get there look for Dale Daugherty and he get you situated.
  15. Keep it within reason. Every bad experience we have increases costs and rules for the following year. Besides, this is a nice location and we may want to come back here. It won't be a good idea to upset our hosts. They might not want us back!!
  16. The only fair way to regulate this will be per tent or rv. We want to make it fair for the participants and the fairgrounds as well.
  17. Or incorrect... We are working on plans to keep it open longer on Saturday. Sunday the pit occupies the same field as the rally cross and will not be open.
  18. Ouch... Jaymie and I will be there along with the Delta crew and Jacob.
