  1. yup.. Kinda like this http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo11/picture_001?full=1
  2. I don't imagine that the pipe is any more restrictive than the airbox itself, or the MAF for that matter. The 'handlebar' thing is a noise break of sorts. Its also a great place for the plumbing of a recirculating type BOV
  3. Bout a 40 hour drive from here to Zap's;)
  4. I have the tools in the proper size for stock EA82 Head Bolts. Its not really that expensive.. kinda depends on which dealer you use though
  5. Someone tried it a year or so ago and had no luck. One difference is that the Euro cars use an EGT, but have no O2 sensor.. not sure what the other differences are.
  6. That is correct, they were only available in 85-86
  7. remove rear strut compress spring rachet lower perch to desired setting decompress spring it can be a real pain to get the spring compressors into those tiny springs. Be careful
  8. I used to go to the PAP and buy a handful of them for $5.. would usually end up with 1-2 good ones per handfull... Just used the last one a while back.. they break so easy, and the ones that aren't broken just die
  9. I know I am using a different IC than you, but mine had a 2-3 vacuum lines plumbed into it. One of them was the exact same size as the Aux Air valve line, so I just bought a longer hose and plumbed the AAV right into the back of the IC.
  10. That white canister should have a check valve on it from the factory. Both the vents and the 4wd solenoids run off of that canister. its could be leaking, or the check valve could be broken/backwards.
  11. Brake Booster and vent controls both run off of vacuum canisters with check valves that stop them from going into positive pressure. Don't know about the disty. Never had a turbo car with a vacuum advance disty
  12. OMG.. you're kidding right? Brian. that looks pretty good. Talk to mick about making one of those up for you.
  13. ctrl + V of my response to your thread on NASIOC I currently run a T03 on my volvo.. but its 9.8:1 CR 2.3 litre(up from 8.5:1 stock). I ran a T03/04 on my Saab, but again, it was a 2.3 litre motor.. Aside from your overall displacement being quite a bit less, the 7.7:1 CR is not going to help with the monster turbo lag you are bound to achieve.
  14. Most of it depends on what intercooler you are using. You need.. Intercooler Intercooler hoses (silicone preferred) Steel IC pipes.. (if appropriate to your application) Brackets/mounting hardware(dependant again on application.. TMIC/FMIC) Bypass valve is recommened. How its plumbed depends on a combination of what IC you use and how the IC is plumbed.
  15. As much as I would love to help, the font size you chose for your message is quite small.. Made it difficult to get past the first sentence. Could you perhaps increase it just a bit so that the rest of us can read it?
  16. You car has an internal regulator 81-82 (possibly 83)was the last year for external regulators.
  17. First -Vanislru The turbo fuel pump is 61-72psi The FPR is a 1:1 Rising rate that begins at ~36psi Second - Kevin.. Sorry bud, those pics are of your Diff Lock Vacuum solenoids The pressure switches and such being discussed are on the passenger side inner fender well in front of the strut tower
  18. The tacoma yard is right off of 512. on 112th between steele and south tacoma way
  19. Ding DIng DIng! Winner! More soob parts there than any PAP..
  20. The thought has crossed my mind a couple times.. there a supercharher from a 97 bonneville sitting down at the shop.. Not sure what we are going to do with it yet:grin:
  21. Actually, the difflock diaphragm looks VERY much like the 4wd actuator on a PB 4wd tranny.
