  1. That sounds about comparable to What my 88 3AT Turbowagon did.. I am thinking about 3800 @ 70MPH.. Also, Turbo=Higher final drive ratio=Slightly lower RPMs at cruise.. So that would easily explain the 200 RPM difference.. BTW.. Nice sig
  2. yup. thats joe's Brat.. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24659
  3. If you decide to go with the timeserts, let me know. I can probably save you about $100 by loaning you the bits and taps and such. That should keep the total investment around $40 Mine are all done. Am going to put it together tonight.
  4. Auto or manual? I have one for a 5 speed here somewhere. Its from an 88 GL-10 TurboWagon.. I got it for mine, but mine has one out of an auto and i don't feel like going through the effort to change the lines for the HH
  5. 390s are aproximately 15 1/4 inches Dunno about machining them though.
  6. Yup Most of the locals are Ok.. And they are an excellent source of go fast parts for my soob.. Plus, there are no old school soobs in TX
  7. That only applies to the dumb asses on NASIOC that think the Impreza is the only car Subaru makes This is a Subaru Rex
  8. Where exactly are you? There was talk a while back about Brett getting out of the production of the lifts. Too much BS to deal with. General concensus is that he can be trusted though.
  9. Motor, exhaust, cross member, wiring harnes.. Bunch of other little random crap. Not a lot of fun
  10. Yeah.. Last time I looked at the GR2, I came up at about $60 per side. That doesn't really seem too unreasonable
  11. Mods.. Can we copy thid to the USRM? Too cool. Thanks for the writeup. This exact thing has crossed my mind a number of times. I'm sure this will make it a lot easier.
  12. the early legacies occasionally have coil packs that go bad.. Have you checked for error codes? Try the new gen forum. Thats where all the legacy owners are.
  13. Yup And the Ozified lifts come with instructions.
  14. I can fill in a few of the blanks right off the top of my head EA81 HP FTLB EA82T HP 111(85-86)115(87+) TQ ~135 ER27 HP 145 EJ18 ? ? EJ22 HP 130 and up depending on year. Thanks in advance, Mike
  15. Before I pulled my motor, it started running out of breath just past 6k. This was with the same filter setup Kevin has(except my airbox is completely removed) and stock exhaust. I don't really expect power past 6k with the new motor either.. But I am hoping the TD04 and 2.5 inch turbo back will help with that.. and the higher compression should help with turbo spool. My ideal hope is to make good power from about 2k-5800 Side note, Kevin.. what you're feeling is deifinitely not fuel cut.. thats a pretty violent thing.. you'll know it when it happens.. That said, at 12psi, I have never had a fuel cut problem in my wagon.
  16. only real difference between 87 and 89 is that in 87 they still offered a carb model.. Since yours is SPFI, 99% of everything is the same..
  17. Not sure exactly what gasket you mean.. The down pipe attaches to the turbo..and there is no seperate uppipe..Whatever it is you need, call your local dealership. WRX uppipe/downpipe set is only $30.. I would imagine Exhaust gaskets are cheaper for a GL-10
  18. On a 93 Loyale, they are near the driver side firewall, under the hood. Only ones I have seen under the dash have been on my turbo cars.
  19. I'm gonna guess vacuum up on the firewall on the passenger sid is a white vacuum canister.. make sure all connections to and from it are secure. Leaky connections/canister are a common problem when having HVAC switching trouble.. Good bet it would affect the cruise as well.
