  1. There is only one fuel filter, its in the engine bay between the firewall and drivers side shock tower. Big round one, replace this first. If there is no change in the problem, it could be the pickup coil in the disty.
  2. Sounds like the govenor got apple cored. Heres a few threads about it. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/search.php?searchid=304355
  3. Are you sure it was the trans that you drained?
  4. Well, thanks for all the positive input. But you guys are killing me! I have to many things to do before the show next month, I just dont think I'm going to have time to do the other 3 wheels. But what ever the RX is wearing for shoes come then, I think you all will like em;)
  5. Was thinking of putting them on my 89 RX. Not sure if I have the time to do 3 more before the show next month.
  6. Yup, I was thinking of a gold rim. To match the trim on the RX. But I might have other plans/options for wheels:brow:
  7. Not the same one, just a extra I have (plus 3).
  8. Tired of the same ole Pug wheels. Got a little creative, put more time in prep than painting. Go figure:rolleyes:
  9. Woot! Good to see it up and running, finally:headbang: Hope we can park next to each other at the Show:brow:
  10. Get ahold of ryry, another new guy. He's in Pasco, desperatly seeking somebody to help pull the engine out of his Hatch. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=61557
  11. Hah! Welcome to the club. I have 2 XT6's that need work. Just finished HG on the T-Wagon, doing one of the XT6's right now. With that goes seals and other gaskets. I'm trying to install a winch on my Hatch, its not cooperating:rolleyes: My other XT6 is waiting for a engine/tranny swap. My Brat needs lots of work. Oh yeah, and my RX is getting a transplant very soon, before WCSS8.
  12. Heh, it looks like you had the same idea as me for the fender flares. Those pics werent taken in Pasco I presume? I think we need to get some pics of our rigs together:brow:
  13. Do you have to pull the axle stubs out to install? It took me about 1/2hr to weld mine:brow:
  14. Heh, you cant possibly be worse than some of the characters that show up there:rolleyes:
  15. Great job:headbang: It sounds a little like my Hatch:brow:
  16. The fuse is for AWD A/T's. You put the fuse IN to disable the AWD if I recall.
  17. I was working on the Hatch today and was looking at the paint. They previous owner/painter used all flat paint colors, and its getting pretty faded now. Maybe this winter I'll get it painted in the urban camo I want.
  18. I havent seen a EA81, no matter what year, that has urethane on it.
  19. Your car has the moulding on it, theres no glue. If its old, dried up and cracked they may not want to do it unless you get new moulding. They also will not warranty it when you supply the glass. I just called a few shops in my area for my 86 Wagon and that was their story.
  20. I bought Qman's 84 T-Wagon about 4yrs ago (Won award @ WCSS3). He did a few upgrades to it, I gave him $1K for it. It was well worth it. This car has low miles, 2 owners and all maintenance records. I'm sure the owner can be talked down tho. For the folks in the PNW that have never lived in Cali, everything has a higher price tag on it. And everything is negotiable.
  21. Was it that long ago? 3 of my cars have the box cut out, some day I'll put cone filters on them:rolleyes:
  22. Use a piece of PVC to go thru the fender, that way any gases wont make it into the cabin.
  23. ?? He's going to Virginia, not overseas. It might cost more to ship than to buy in VA. Sell it in AK for more $ and buy 2 Soobs in VA.
  24. Well, he lives pretty darn close to Gorst:cool: And I think he has a lifted blue wagon. But I've been wrong before:rolleyes:
