41deg at my homestead this morning. Getting close to frosty. Considering how warm and dry its been this year in the PNW, I wonder what Winter is going to bring. -
Cant wait to see the beast finished. Let me know if you need moral support:-p

ford taurus map light on loyale = pics inside
Turbone replied to moshem74's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I have the EA82 maplight installed on my Hatch, its much better than the old dome light. Junkie did a write up on it, think its still in the USRM. My GL-10 T-Wagon has all of that, except it has S/R 4wd. Dome light AND maplight:-p -

I made leather boots for a steering rack once. Lasted longer than the car (Opel) I think this would work better than canvas for longevity.

Beleive it or not, I keep some finger nail clippers with me at all times. The little file can and will open most older Soobs. -
Wire brush the heavy stuff off, then sand the surface. Try and feather the surface where it meets the paint. Alot of primers have rust killer in them now, look for it in Krylon and Rustoleum. If the area is pitted badly, use some bondo to fill and smooth it then sand and prime.

Issues with my EA81dc, dying at high RPM.
Turbone replied to Phizinza's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
It sounds like thats your problem again. There is most likely pieces left in the cat and now they are blocking the exit. When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? -
I say, crank up the radio and see if the tach jump higher! Of course, following the above tips would be a good idea also

1987 Subie gl wagon w/turbo
Turbone replied to robertwheeler's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
EA82T's are very quircky. It could be a leak in the intake, it could be a bad turbo unit. Once thats ruled out, start into the electical, swap out another coil maybe but check all the plugs first. -
Theres a couple of hidden bolts. Open the door and look above the hinges, theres one there and another in the middle. At the very back of the wheel well underneath on the pinch weld theres one, maybe 2. And under the front roll pan at the corner on the iinside theres one maybe 2. There is 2 behind the bumper, according to the FSM. The rest are obivious, right along the top edge.

Theres a couple down in your area, not sure of the names-but somone here should. You can also post in the wanted forum for parts, or let me know what you need, I just might have it:brow: Is it a auto? Do a search for 3at, you will get some needed info on them.

Yeah, I believe they are in OZ. Your better off getting a lift from Ozified.com. PK can fix you up with the same setup.

Let us know what you find out. Info about the car and what price if they are selling.

Or possibly fuel filter. My 89.5 RX did not have the side or rear skirts. You didnt mention anything about the rear spoiler? Odd that it would have AC and not PS. Like to see some pics.
