  1. Well, I'm not able to make it. Stupid mobilehome plumbing:mad: Sprung a leak at the waterheater and finding fittings that work with this crappy PVC stuff is a PITA. Anyway, Qman might be driving my Hatch up today, his rigs arent ready yet. So I'm there in spirit:burnout:
  2. Sorry to hear about the loss Ed. We'll miss you, but there will be lots of pics to look at.
  3. Probably the most fun you can have in a EA81 (besides a lifted Hatch:D If the tranny is in good condition, run it till the gov goes out, then do a manual transplant.
  4. Then you better come:brow: Might not go out again till Spring. I'm not getting a tree either, just going to play in the snow.
  5. The one in Enumclaw should have them and we drive right past there on the way.
  6. I have the same working conditions, been that way for years. Wouldnt know how to act if I got to work on a solid dry surface, probably fall asleep:lol: I've done what GD said, but I'm only using one layer of 3/4 ply cut to 12x12". Its worked great for years. A 4x6 or full sheet fits almost perfectly under the car and between the wheels. I have to do this when I pull engines, I still have to roll onto dirt to get the hoist out of the way tho. I've had the same piece of 3x3' carpet for a couple of yrs too. I have a creeper that I used at my last job, never gets any use at my place:-\ I recently had to put up a tarp to work under once the weather started to get wetter, its held up pretty well so far. I think my next house will just be one big garage with a loft:D
  7. Dont know if I missed it in your first post or not, but did you replace the fuel filter? Might try some injector cleaner just for the heck of it.
  8. Probably going to have to repaint it, Hatches didnt come in black.
  9. Brand new. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subaru-1600-1800-BRAT-XT-XT6-LOYALE-OIL-FILLER-CAP-NEW_W0QQitemZ320051968321QQihZ011QQcategoryZ33622QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  10. True, it is. I should have stated that it was in the switch. Thats what it said in the FSM. I just pulled the dash out of a 86 T-Wagon, I'll look for that control unit. What Dave says is probably true, its the same unit on all the XT(6)'s. I just had to resolder a contact on one in my old XT6. I bet one of these could be retrofitted for adj speed int wipers.
  11. According to the 86 FSM, the Int is part of the wiper stalk. So maybe thats all you need? Not sure about the wiring.
  12. Sorry I didnt follow you guys on the way back from breakfast. My Hatch isnt street legal so I took the backroads to the Raceway. I noticed I ended up getting there before the group did tho:D
  13. He wants to know if theres a fix for his. Lets try and be helpful here folks. I've looked in the FSM to see if theres a brain for the intermmitants, cant find it. I know pretty sure theres a relay under the dash, but ID'n it will be hit and miss because theres more than one in the same area and I think they are all alike. Wish I could be more certain on this but thats all I got right now.
  14. Post it in the Wanted Forum. Theres some of those for sale occasionaly.
  15. Thats much better, makes more sense too. Puts me a little lower on the scoring, but still respectable. Got some improvements to make on the car and with some more time on the track..........hope I can do it next season:cool:
  16. No trouble here, 2 different computers too. A little more seat time and I plan on being a winning player in my class:grin:
  17. Turbo's have more pressure in the system, it will cause oil to leak out the filler tube if the cap isnt tight. I've taken the ears on the under side of the cap and squeezed them in a little with pliers to make a tighter seal. The ideal fix is a new cap tho, should be able to get one from the Dealer. Dont the rebuild kits come with a new seal? I believe I've seen one before.
  18. Results of the RallyX are up @ http://www.subiesport.com/subiefest/results/rallycross.htm If Zap had run his car 3 more times, it would have counted. So, someone correct me if I'm wrong, that made my time of 1:21:78 6th fastest of the day:headbang: Btw, thats not everyone that ran that day. Not by a long shot. Should be at least 100 cars that ran.
  19. I'll send a PM when I find the stuff. I'm not all that orginized:rolleyes:
  20. Curious. How did they manage to get it to where it was found in its present condition. Did they expect it to be found? Btw ,do you want the parts you need?
  21. Might have what you need there. I'll take a look, pretty sure about the clamps but need to dig thru a spider infested box for the wiper:brow:
