Subiefest Rally X thread. Got pix or stories?
Turbone replied to ezapar's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Definatly had a good time. The course was setup well and stayed wet the entire day. Thanks again to Ed for setting me up with the killer rally tires, they made a HUGE difference. My best time was a 1:21, someone told me its up there with the best(?). I havent raced in over a year and this is the first with the RX. Zap and Qman literaly tore the track up in Qmans Brighton. Got to ride in it with Zap as pilot. If there had been audio in the car it would have sounded like a couple of little kids squeeling (with joy). This car kicks A$$! I hope I can make it to next years RallyX series, I really miss it:-\ -
The BEST Quality Radiator, please recommend
Turbone replied to Alexx's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I just bought 3 rads from the Radiator Barn(radiatorbarn.com). Top quality, brand new and not overpriced. Theres also Performance Radiator @ 1 877 723-4286. -
No, just open the door. The weather stripping is on the quater glass and is press fit on. You can get it off with a screwdriver or putty knife if your real careful by pushing it off the edge of the glass.

Nobody ever said crooks were smart. The guy that currently had your car might not have been the one that stole it. The reason why it was found so close to home, he might not have even known it was stolen. But then again. How could they think any one wouldnt recog it with just a rattle can job and the same plates on it? Cops should have staked it out and waited for the driver to come get it.

Congrats on the recovery. Let me know what parts you need, I will donate some stuff to get it road worthy again.

Project Idea: XT/6 Sunroof Repair Kit
Turbone replied to timbo3185's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Unfortunalty, you have the worse case of gutter rot. I'm not sure anyone over here in the rust belt of the US has a rusted out gutter as bad as yours. But we will see what can be done. -
My 84 Brat has a hi-rise that came stock. No PW and the place where the switches go still has the blank in it. Isnt that special? Sorry for the HJ:D

Anyone know of any shops in the Seattle/Tacoma area that do glass bead or media blasting? I need some alloy wheels cleaned up, like now.

Seattle to Portland or visa versa

Theres several Corky. Might go over to Nasioc PNW and ask. -
Is this all really worth it at $6 a gallon for kero?

I wish I had taken pics when I moved 1.5yrs ago. The wagon did a great job towing a 4x8 trailer packed full of my parts a distance of 3mi. The trailer and parts had to weigh over 1K. I dont think I would have liked going further than that, but I wasnt white knuckled for 2 of the 3mi:D

I'm seriously thinking of making a cardboard shell to fit over my Hatch. Make it look like a damn Pinto or something:rolleyes: 3in of clearance:headbang:

89 XT6 with 8in lift on sub frame, solid axles front and rear. He got rid of it mainly because you cant see whats in front of you over the hood.
