  1. 2 on the front tow bar, 4 on the front of the rack, 2 on the back of the rack. I used to have another 2 on the sides of the rack, but I took those off. Here is the control panel I have a 4 gauge wire from the battery going to a custom separate fuse panel below the glove box. Every pair of lights has a switch, a relay, and its own fuse!
  2. W3rd. Both runs cross between 5-6k. It probably depends on the smoothing algorithm used for the display.... I tooo have seen only a small number of dyno sheets that look perfect.
  3. Awesome. It was a treat to see it on the lift when I drove home today. I'm gonna have to stop in and shoot the ************ with you. Heck, your so close I may just bring one of the calmasters for you to peep.
  4. Let me know the next time you are there working on it... i'll come give you some cash! I'm stoked to see you making progress. We'll have to talk coilovers....
  5. Zaps, Tavern, Wherever. You let me know and I'll bend time to make it there.
  6. I'll be in Redmond tomorrow afternoon at some point for a family gathering. I could probably swing by and at least give you the cash. I just don't know what time... anyway to get ahold of you thats not PM?
  7. Hit me up for sure. I got parts for Brian. Andy has my digits. You aren't by chance coming into town for the Pepper show are you?
  8. I happen to know someone that has one for sale Let me know the next time you are there, I'll try my hardest to make it happen!
  9. Sorry Bud, you're PM's to me made it sound like you weren't for sure on your buddy being able to stay. I PM'd you to clarify, but I didn't hear back. Hit me up so we can try this again.
  10. Makes sense! Mine right now is close to the driveline, but doesn't hit it. The old linkages used to hit it on certain shifts.
  11. You can see in one of my pictures in this thread http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=81260 that I had a barrel coming straight off the tranny, and a double bracket piece attached to that. So I needed a barrel to fit into the other side of that double bracket. Perhaps your USDM stuff is different, I don't know. I just know what worked for me. Kingbobdole, is there a reason why you opted to bolt the shift stay on top of the tunnel as opposed to below it?
  12. Check this out Russ... http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=81260
  13. No pitch stopper, run GroupN mounts. EJ linkage all the way! I got cash for that tranny... PM me your number so I can get in touch with you.
  14. Meh, too much work. 3.7 will work fine for me. Caboobaroo... Its your car, but I REALLY think you should use a EJ shift linkage, I'll help you find one even. But either way, I'll pull another set of EA linkage from the junkyard.
  15. They've been sucking for a while in the WRC. Petter Solberg hasn't performed up to expectations at all. Besides... WRC is in the works to move to a more nascar-style format which will further limit engines, gearboxs, chassis, ecu programming, etc... I'm not happy to see it, but I'd rather them cut this stuff early then fail hard later. There is always the chance they come back.... If the WRC survives.
  16. I already have a car with close ratio gears and 4.11's. I get tired of shifting. But its quick as piss. The reason I want the 3.9 d/r AWD is because it wouldn't change how the car drives, it would just add AWD so it would put the power to the ground a bit better.
  17. What about puttihg the center lockable diff adn rear output from an RX tranny onto the 3.9? Thats been my dream...
  18. I'll just get new axles, seems easier for me. I'm not too good at putting the DOJ's back together. 5spd d/r is in decent shape. I noticed when I changed my last axle (passenger front) that the stub had a bit of slop in it (up and down). I think with the 2.2 and fairly aggressive driving, i've worn it pretty good. I get some vibration/shaking from it (the axle stub/axle), and its the main reason I want to trade it out. But, once its out i'll sell it, probably not for much because of the stub issue. I'll PM you. As for putting a transfer case behind it and all that jazz, it should hold up just great. I was thinking the same thing, however the RX stuff kinda just fell in my lap for decent prices... Which makes me being able to do something at all possible. The prices of those EJ transmissions fluctuates a lot around here, and sometimes they can be hard to find. Plus, moving to EJ means a lot more stuff, over a new EA. EA: Trans, Axles, Matching Diff EJ: Trans, Clutch, Flywheel, Driveshaft, Matching Diff, Axles Some of that stuff can get pretty $$$, atleast for someone on a budget that basically requires me to sell a car that I love. I've broken a handful of axles on the front, and my last set of swampers got worn down pretty quick. Along with the AWD change, i'm probably going to pick up another set of wheels/tires that are more daily driving friendly.
  19. OK guys... most know my car: It currently has a ej22, 5spd d/r, and a welded rear diff. Great combo for offroad. For daily driving, its getting tiresome spinning my front tires in the wet, so I've decided to make it AWD... I kept going back and forth between EJ AWD, or RX AWD. RX won, because i'd like to keep the diff lock/dual range. I'll be picking up Caboobaroo's RX tranny, and Noahdl88's LSD rear end... but I don't think thats all the pieces I'll need. As I understand it, I will need Turbo front axles, to match the splines on the RX tranny. Correct me if I'm wrong. I also need to know if my driveline will work, or if I need to find another one.
  20. I'd go to Drivelines NW... they have several locations if I remember right. I need to put some money in your pocket soooon Locations: http://www.drivelinesnw.com/locations-c16.html
  21. Thanks for the heads up. Guy also had for sale a '86 FSM. Which I've been trying to track down for a couple weeks to try and fix my brothers XT. Will be useful for my '86 wagon as well.
