  1. You should be able to find one of those around here for the gen 1's . Those seem as if they start to pop up about now on craigslist.
  2. I will see if I can scrounge one up for ya. Send me a pm with your phone # and I will see what I come up with. Also I guess there are plenty at the pull n pay type places.
  3. Wow just barely wiping the the sleep goobers from its eyes. Barely broke in.
  4. Looks great. Skip has a conversion that he wrote a thread on about how to use subaru '80's type center caps on the puggy wheels. Search around and you will find it I am sure. It looks nice.
  5. I think that is pretty cool. I agree that is partly why I like old subaru's is because it is different.
  6. In that case check the timing marks on the belt to make sure it didn't jump time. Also If you can take out one of the spark plugs and reconnect it to the wire and crank over the engine while grounding it to something and see if you have spark. Before that I would try to pull the cap off of the distributor and crank the engine and verify that it rotates as it is supposed to.
  7. Hey Connie to answer your question about how we like it... It has been a really good car so far. We ended up getting the 5door/hatchback model like yours, but in the charcoal gray. Only thing we have done to the car so far besides oil changes is adding a spt catback exhaust.
  8. That is too bad about the auto not being what you wanted in it. We recently got an '08 wrx with the 5spd and I haven't driven any of the newer auto cars.
  9. Oh my gosh! I have never seen those that shiney before!
  10. Louvre's ? Or a extremely cool subaru JATO unit? :-p
  11. Your car looks great in that picture. I bet it is fun to drive.
  12. I have talked to this guy before. Sounds like a heap to me but the motor may be good. If it is a 1600 then it is a ea71. But ya you are right about them coming with the 3cyl.
  13. It is "Super Grover". Yes it is a very nice hatch!
  14. I would keep the main color white with maybe some black accenting. I would keep the colors plain because I think you will not grow tired of the color combo. And whatever you do make sure you keep the engine pretty loud with a straight pipe exhaust exiting the rear!
  15. Yes and the pesky power steering pump. I think it looks like a nice car except for the damage. You will just have to go look at it. I really think I would only pay around $500-$600 tops for that car because of the damage. Also that spare tire under the hood is gonna take alot of work to get it to hold air.
  16. If no one else has one available I could go pull one at the yard for you and check it out. Usually can get one for $20-$30.
  17. You may be better off to contact the dealer for that. What are you trying to get info on?
  18. Wow that is a sleeper for sure! I wonder if he can do a wheel stand without trying all that hard.
  19. Is that Kingbobdole's wagon? I am not sure who that is.
  20. I have heard some people say that the newer '08 wrx, sti, and outback ect. that the newer transmissions make noise for the 1st thousand miles and then go completely silent. My wife recently bought a brand new wrx and it was quite a bit better by 1,000 miles.
