  1. Rx springs on them = mega lift? I am very interested as well.
  2. Wow! I am actually a bit blown away, I really want to learn more.
  3. I have a complete dual carb setup like yours in my garage. I will have to see what some of the adjustment screws are set at. The plastic spacer is just to prevent heat soak up to the carbs themselves.(as far as I know) Your carb gaskets look good to me actually. They don't have to match up perfectly to do the job.
  4. Do you have a picture of the adapter plate?
  5. I am really glad I still have my lift.
  6. Wow! Nice man! I will have to come have a look at that mud hole sometime.
  7. Look for a '91 turbo legacy 3.9 viscous lsd and put the lsd guts into your rear diff along with the side cups/seals from the lsd unit.
  8. Hey John I made my own tool out of some 3/16" solid steel and bent it. Works really good. I will give it to you if you want it. I can have my wife bring it up to boulder area for you. Let me know.
  9. I use permatex ultra gray or you can get some honda bond (anaerobic) from a motor cycle shop.
  10. What are those two horse shoe looking things painted on the hood for?
  11. Nice brat! I think it looks really nice!
  12. Ya it should be the same as a ea81. I don't see why that wouldn't work.
  13. I have a spare weber 38dgas laying around for such an occasion. I want to try something different as well.
  14. Actually got it all figured out thanks to Bratsrus1(Jerry)! Ya!
  15. I was wanting some info on the wiring modifiying that needs to be done to get a EJ22 to work with a ford escort distributor? The three wires that come from the distributor off of a '83 ford escort, is the main source of questions as to where they go? Is there any other wires that need to be used for the distributor? What ones get connected to the coil on a ea81 chassis vehicle? Any help is apreciated.
  16. Nice! Yours looks way better than mine! I have a white '92 tleg 5speed. You will love how well they respond to just a few add on bits. I have done a act street light flywheel and act heavy duty clutch, invidia down pipe off of a sti along a 3" down pipe back exhaust with magnaflow muffler and just a few other things to start. Really livened it up with those few things! Enjoy yours!
  17. Higher compression ratio right? I thought I remembered reading that before?
  18. Hey John sorry to hear about the engine. I am sure I could find you a good one if anything you have doesn't work.
  19. I am a new justy fiend as well. Try the website here for any info you might want. I recently pulled a justy efi head and started porting it. I have also gotten delta cam to do a regrind on it! Now all I need is the car. http://subarujusty.proboards20.com/
  20. Good work. Glad to see you are getting a proper engine in there under the bonnet.
  21. Good Job with that car man! I will see it some day.
  22. I think it is funny to see rust from the west coast area compared to the stuff the east coasters can fix up. I grew up around the salt water in Alaska and rust was prevalent, you can fix it properly if you just take your time. POR-15 is where its at with rust.
