Flood Wagon.
That is some serious flooding! Those planes look really nice! I spy a piper decathalon, citabria and what looks like a nice little pitts biplane.

wont start, carb issue? STARTS! won't idle, front axle replacement?
If you feel like it you can call ccr in denver for advise. Their number is 303-293-9230 Good to see another colorado person on here with an old subaru.

Flood Wagon.
Baking soda sprinkled about works well also. Let it set in a couple days and then vaccum it up and smell the difference.

Mount an EA82 PS pump on your EA81 with my kit! Works with SPFI swaps too!!
That looks very good. Nice job.

'82 Brat: Solid Axle Build *** DONE! :) ***
Nice. I agree , don't underestimate a good ea81.

fuel pump
I wouldn't mess around with anything but a subaru specific pump. I know you can get one for your rx type car or '85-'89 turbo wagon. Also I believe that spfi pumps of the ea82 variety are the same as well.

heater fan relay location ???? help
Your loyale should have a relay on the passenger side of the radiator. Should be a copper/brass plug looking thing with two wires coming off of it and a plug/connector. I would start there first.

EJ22T Loose Crank
Jerry DeMoss replied to wtdash's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXYa the thrust bearing definately. The crank may be really worn also. My ej22t has a little over 170k on it and hasn't done anything that drastically yet. I wonder what could have caused that?

Turbo question
Ya I agree completely. You are better off getting a piece of copper plate from home depot and making your own gasket rather that the rtv type.

You lucky folks that get to attend please be sure to take some pictures of the subies for us.

EJ 2.0 vs EJ 2.2
Probably a jdm engine. Usually the only places that got the na version of the ej20 was outside of the usa.

Documented: The 1970 FF-1 Project car...
I would suggest using por 15 in those areas so it will convert the rust areas to a black primer and prevent anything further.

Let's see who has the coolest EA71!
Those GSR's are really cool. That '73 would look really awesome with a lift kit for sure. I don't think anyone has done one of those before.

WTF!! Speakers sizes
What type of subie are you trying to fit speakers to?
-
White chalky powder plug socket
It is kinda like the white stuff that appears on the battery terminals. A little de lectric grease would solve that problem. That is where I would start.

Documented: The 1970 FF-1 Project car...
Who cares really?! Old subes have more character and personality.
