Best 14mm tool for removing plug for block heater
Is this on an ea81? I would recomend spraying penetrating oil around the outside of the plug and letting it set up for a while. Also find your strongest impact gun and start going to town on the thing. Few bumps forward and a few bumps back and so forth. You may have to spray and let set a few times. And as far as pennetrating oil goes... Don't go with wd-40. I would recomend pb blaster or something similar.

Wicked Mick! How much persuading would it take to get you to bring that monster out to colorado.

Port and Polish?
If you want port and polish done I can help you out there. No matter what engine you decide to go with.(I would try and persuade you to go with the ej) and then port those heads.

Turbo Fuel Pump in Non Turbo Impreza
Probably a little better power especially if your subie is modified. Little more fuel consumption but not by much.

Turbo Fuel Pump in Non Turbo Impreza
Yes it is fine and it will work. You will have more fuel delivered to your engine than you really need so you may experience a rich condition.

How to do Compression Test question
Jerry DeMoss replied to myhilo's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXWhat I would do is: Pull all of the spark plugs out. Disconnect the power wire to the coil.Insert the compression tester in hole number 1 and crank it over with the throttle body open. Then move on to the next one.

Where is the ECU in 1994 Impreza GC6
Most are located under the kick panel below the steering wheel. That being said.... That is where the ecu is on our lhd cars here in the states but yours being rhd should be the same just on the other side of the car. Good luck.

XT6 vs. Legacy steering knuckles?
Sounds really great pooparu. Where did you come up with some good poly bushings?

Northern Colorado shop recommends?
Check awdpirates.net that is a local subaru forum in colorado. A shop called Wicked Subies does really good work. Fort Collins area I think.

mill your own heads?
Save yourself the headache and extra expense of later buying another head and go have it machined at the machine shop. About $40 per head is what most shops charge.

Kind of reminds me of the digital camo stuff you can get on military gear/clothing and backpacks.

Slammed hatch
Way to be different with your hatch. I lowered my '92 tleg recently about 1.5"-2.0" and I like the way it handles alot better especially for mountain driving/twisty road driving. The point I am trying to say is do what you want with your car. Lowered cars ride pretty nice if you do it right. I enjoy mine.

Wedding --Mine
Just a minor update of mine. Shawn and I made it to the top of a 14er that we hiked the day prior to the wedding. My wife and Shawns wife to be went along and did very well. The day of the wedding (yesterday) was great with awesome weather and a great setting near a lake with trees all around. Very nice that it was very low key. I wore my subaru shirt with all my sun burns from the hike the day prior.:banana:Way to go Shawn!!!!
