  1. our subes have two fuel filters? where is the rear on an ea82 spfi gl wagon? anybody? i feel like a complete moron:banghead:
  2. i got the doom up to 110 one day coming down a hill on a service road. i bet when i put 27s on there, it will be capaple of 115-120. i only know one way to find out:burnout:
  3. yeah, capman. that is a nice area you described. (not the iowa part:-p ). are there many trails down around estes park and that area? a meet next sumer after everytrhiung dries up would be awesome. i'll have my lift and some big tires by then too!!!!!! as the muscle man randy savage would say, "ooohhh yeah!"
  4. cool. my power locks are broken. i'm gona work on 'em some time. thanks caleb
  5. the door lock light has been on since i bought my gl. what is it?
  6. cool. finally i found someone in my area. we are like the smallest minority on the board. i've been contemplating a business trip to cheyenne for quite awhile. maybe i'll come down in the next month or two. when i do. i'll let you know. maybe we can do some wheelin if it's dry enough. take it easy wyomingite:headbang:
  7. did you check this page ? it shows the blower assy. but not the fuse. i figure the fuse would be close somewhere, just follow the wires. i think there is a wiring diagram on there too. that might help. maybe i'm just repeating myself. just tryin to help
  8. where can i find a rebuild kit for an ea82 spfi. i was just wondering if you guys knew a good place to pick one up. i can always google search one.
  9. i second the WD-40 notion. the WD stands for water displacement and you definitely need to get that damn water out of there. when you're checkin the plugs, make sure you wear gloves or use a pair of pliers w/rubber grips. i've been shocked before from touching the end part of the plug wire while the engine was running. there was less resistance through my hand than through the plug. it sounds like an easy fix though. good luck man
  10. Go here. This should help. Wiring diagrams and everything. good luck
  11. office max has this digital camera on sale for 14.99 after the in-store rebate of $10 plus a mail-in for $5. the camera does the trick. yeah it's no super quality camera but it works great for reference shots to post on-line. you can check the quality of the pics if you look at my post "where should i put my new spoiler?". every pic i posted there casme from this little camera. the product is an "i-Concepts digital camera" item #69052. had some spare time, figured i'd post. couldn't hurt.
  12. sturgis makes sense. lots of camprounds and 4x trails. i'd love to see it happen.
  13. whats hammerite? is this some freaky alskan sh*t or what? what exactly is it? a rhino lining so to speak?
  14. you guys are so far away. too bad you aren't closer. i've been talking about a get together of the mid-westers. they all want to meet in iowa though. iowa is just a little too far from here and is essentially just nebraska with population. i'm gonna talk to these guys and try to get something a little closer. we need to see where all the good trails are though. hey, maybe someday we could have a national meet!! after my lift is done of course. anyone listen to TOOL? you'll get my first post if you're a fan. if not, wuteva
  15. i figure that i've listed a broad enough range of states to get some activity. i see how all other ares of the U.S. have all kinds of fancy subaru get togethers, why not us? i think next semmer or so we should all try to get together at a spot that works for everyone. speaking of, does anybody know of some nice off-road spots in our area. jealousy is getting the best of me and i NEED to flock with some fellow subaru nuts. it just seems that there is nearly nobody in our area. i say its time to band together and unite. who knows, maybe we can come up with a clever name too! looking forward to your response
  16. why aren't you guys so entheusiastic about wyoming? hell, i'll buy beer. as long as y'all got some pitch. hah:lol: west coast this, west coast that. you all do know that eventually cali will wear away and arizona bay will form (maynard james keenan). come to wyoming. you'll love it. i even heard that in the next 3-7 years it will become less windy. only to return again of course. c'mon, waddya think you can't make it? come here and "4x" in this snow.:santa: pansy asses:drunk:
  17. just be thankful that it's not structural. i would've taken fender damage over my bent up frame any day. good thing my car is a beater.
  18. yeah, it's from a gen1 wagon. i have an ea82 wagon, the one in my signature. i'll probably just put it on the back because it sounds like that is where it would be most functional. i like the hood concept, but i'm rarely going fast enough for that little bit of air to make any difference. and i think i'll just stick with the three footer so i can fit in with the ricers. maybe a fart can too. or a couple. ha sike. i hate that sound. thanks everyone for the input.
  19. thanks. i've wanted a wrx STi for years now. i've always had a thing for subaru and finally got my first one a couple months ago. oh, it's NOT a turbo wagon. i just can't wait to see the looks from the real STi's! thanks a bunch and chayrs mayte:drunk:
  20. i'm just gonna pound the mounts into shape so it will fit. it's a gen 1 spoiler. i decided to put it on the back. i'll do a good job and take my time so it looks good. i'll post pics when i'm done.
  21. i'm have no doubt that at least somebody has an sti here. if you wouldn't mind, maybe tomorrow you could take a quick but accurate measurement. my wagon needs a technica emblem bad. because it is so fast, stylish, well designed, etc. thanks guys. and don't be afraid to sport the old soobies. they handle just as well.
