Broke in the new sedan last night. God that thing is lighter and easier to handle than my wagon ever was. What a big difference. Was out till 1:30 a.m.

nice..... We were out last night until 230 . good solid snow last night,

It's about 2 feet deep here right now .... camera will come out later. I'm too tired from having to dig my way IN to my parking space.

I still dont have the correct diff in the back of my GL so i couldnt take it out but me and a buddy did go out to the local mall parking lot. He had his 08 Legacy, I had my moms 98 Outback Wagon. Fun was had. He got his going in a wicked stationary cyclone. The wagon is a bit too old and worn out to do that stuff, i just drifted around.

That to me makes no sense.... your neck of the woods is so much closer to the mountain.

 

Then again I was up by PDX today and it was 34 and ice, and just afew miles away in Oregon City it was 46

 

This weather is freakish...

Its the PNW!

The closer you get to Puget Sound, the more you run into the "convergence zone".

With the Olympics and Cascades splitting up storm fronts, you never know whats going to happen.

On my way home from Vegas, a couple of weekends ago. I got to enjoy driving 100 miles in these conditions. At least I got some great gas mileage by keeping the speed down.

BTW , that is a really nice donut shot and of course you guys have me beat on scenery. Just plain old city living here. That's Long Island Sound in the background.

Hehehe Paul .. Here is the pic I told you about the other night on the phone. Holly after I said screw it.. and just dug a hole to her door and drove her out of 30+ inches of snow... on bald tires even. ( I had started to clean her off but you get the idea

It's weird seeing snow on the freeway in these parts

(and it looks like the gallons and gallons of salt they dumped all over the place did not realllly work...considering it was still sticking even at 31F )

 

We go quite a bit up here too!

thats funny... I got out of work the other day and I thought it seemed really warm. I got in the Baja and it said it was 25

My brother wanted a hood scoop so i built him one

Second bit of snow in Port Angeles this winter, didn't even have to shovel a thing.

 

Need some real snow tires for anything more than this. The driveway is a bit steep.

 

The last bigger storm on the Peninsula required the use of the wagon to get around!
