May 2, 200421 yr For the last month, i've been prepping to show at Hot Import Nights in Seattle with my "team." It finally went down Sat. It was pretty cool. I was surprised at all the attention my wagon got. Yes, my wagon. Here's some pics: First, my wagon on Roll In (which happened friday, the day before) Next, the team banner: My wagon, all shined up and ready to go! Some Team Intrinsic Models next to my wagon: Monica, Team Intrinsic Models, Me, and the wagon! Tons more pics of the show, our team cars, etc can be found here: http://www.pbase.com/verdugo/hin_050104 http://www.pbase.com/pjdwrx/hin2004

May 2, 200421 yr Author The cars are just there to validate the guys need to go for their significant others Yeah, threw a towel under there, only leaked a couple drops. But, i wanted to be safe, not have to clean up a bunch after the show.
May 2, 200421 yr Sweet, good to see an old skool Soobie get some props at a car show. Last time I entered into a show, the guy taking the apps laughed me away. It was a Hot Rod and Customs show, not an import one, but still, thats beside the fact. N.e.ways, lookin good. I do have to ask though, whots with the pipes on the roofrack?!
May 3, 200421 yr The links won't take you to Tex's pictures, what I did was right mouse button clip the box with the 'X', then clicked on properties, then copied the file address, then pasted it to my browser, then hit enter, the picture will come up. When you go back to the board, the picture will be there, you'll have to do that for every picture. Car looks nice Tex, I see why you were wanting all those interior parts.
May 3, 200421 yr Author Sorry about the pics not working guys. :/ In a year or so the RX should be ready. After this experience, i think i've caught the bug. Makes you feel real good when people are wow'd by your car. I think the phrase I heard most was, "that car is SICK!" Lots of people marvelled at how much space was in the engine compartment and how small the engine was.
May 3, 200421 yr Nice!! So is the car! What kinda setup ya got under that car? Lift, wheels, tires, etc. Give us some stats!

May 4, 200421 yr Author Just found these on the Overboost.com site: http://www.overboost.com/pix.asp?image=./images/1249/full/IMG_6526.jpg http://www.overboost.com/pix.asp?image=./images/1249/full/IMG_6528.jpg Then, in their feature article "The top 25 of HIN - Seattle" they posted this: "9. Nothing says big pimpin more than a lifted 1986 Subaru GL wagon. The 14-inch Peugeot steelies with 28-inch tall off-road tires will give spinners a run for their money on and off the boulevard any day of the week. Just ask Dave from Wendy's or the four smiling Daylighters." I can't explain the jubilee i'm feeling right now.
May 4, 200421 yr Nothing says big pimpin more than a lifted 1986 Subaru GL wagon.\ I couldnt agree more! Congratulations! Im impressed that the import scene is actually open enough to appreciate a car with battle-scars!
