September 26, 20196 yr Hey! Guess who f*#&ed up their subie? I recently got into an accident, it wasn't major or anything but I bent my passenger control arm way in, my cv, sway bar and stabilizer bar. I've found every part to fix it up, but I found out the stabilizer bar on every single site is discontinued. Is there any other models that will fit my car? It's a 91 loyale wagon, ea82 1.8l Im having major trouble finding parts for this car so I'm thinking about just completely rebuilding the front as a forested front end, and adding a 2" lift kit in the back but I'm not sure. Any ideas?
September 26, 20196 yr Any 2wd (from 1984 onwards) or 4wd Leone (from 1985 onwards) will have the parts you’re chasing so long as it’s an L series model. Cheers Bennie Edited September 26, 20196 yr by el_freddo
September 26, 20196 yr Oh, yeah, 1984 through 1994 should be the same parts for suspension and most things. There are small differences here and there on mostly the accessories. There were some odd changes in wiring harness and connectors in the 86 /87 area of time.
September 27, 20196 yr Any chance on simply bending that bastard back into shape? I need to step my game up and start fabbing up nla pieces such as those. There is a guy here that did the five lug swap with a mismash of early forester and legacy parts, I need to find the write up he did because that is one option for you if you would want to do all that work. Might as well open the can of worms completely and grab a front posi! But then you'll want more horsepower... Cheers man, good luck with the repair and I'll keep an eye out for L bodies in the junkyard.
September 27, 20196 yr If yer gonna lift it and offroad it, just ditch the swaybar entirely. It really isn't needed.
October 4, 20196 yr Author This is what I meant, not sway bar. Got me terms messed up Would the one I linked (which fits a justy) work with my suspension? It looks fairly similar with the strut type rod with two screw holes on the end. Just not sure about the size
October 4, 20196 yr Link didn’t load for me, but the answer is no, justy parts will not fit your L series. Cheers Bennie
October 4, 20196 yr dude weld a bolt in to a piece of pipe and smash the other end done or bend the old one back in to shape and sleave it done thats a easy fix i riped the mounts off the body on my loyale lol now the entire set up is adjustable and that rod is about 3ft long with rod ends on both ends
