USMB turnout for this weekend's Rally X? 3/20/05

Featured Replies

I'll be there, but not for the School. I figure that if I did the School it wouldn't be fair to everybody.

(Or I'm too poor) :banghead:

Gotta let you know though, that I'm gonna make a push for the Open Class this season and try to place in the top 3. In the grocery getter OBS even. lol

Anyways, I'll be down there on Saturday, late afternoon.

Open Class is running in the morning on Sunday, so I'll be at the fairgrounds good and early.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

(my tires had better get here on time. . .)

I'll be down for the school (I need it!) and my son Eric will be down for the rallyx on Sunday; I don't know what class he'll be running in.

Sorta in the same spirit, there is an autox in Bremerton if any PNW sube junkies wanna bash cones with me and my friends.

If the parts for my car ever show up I should be there sunday.

Uhhhh I have the day off, so I SHOULD be there. No school as I really dont have it budgeted for the month.

Hmmm I could even drive the new brat :brow:

Arrrrrrggg, I'm not ready :banghead: Cant wait to compete against you Zap :brow: On another note, the engine is in the RX, just have to put the intake on and button things up (and clean it out).

Nice Rob! Can't wait to see that RX runnin' strong. Keep me posted.

I'll be there at the school and obviously the rally cross heehee. I am going to be running open class all season and want to place top 5. Cause I probably won't beat you Zap. :(

If the parts for my car ever show up I should be there sunday.

grrr... Garner at Rallitek called and said they will show up Friday or Saturday, talk about cutting it close.

Just to let you guys from up noth know, rain is expected over the weekend.

The Kumhos are on!!! Let it rain!! Rooster tail city people, whoohoo!

Hmmmm between the rain and my lack of days off now.... I may or may not show... sorry to be flakey but I bought my lifted brat BEFORE I met shannon and we are now married and its still not done :banghead:

So the day off MAY be better spent working on the darn thing!

I am still up in the air... either have fun and pay $30 OR save $30+ gas and gain a wrenching day... :-\

I'll be there all weekend, staying at the crimson lion.

Rooster tail city people, whoohoo!

yeah like 20 ft. of air on some of those flyin chunks

it was a blast learned a few new things about the OBS including removing the ABS fuse before even running :lol: but hey I did improve my time on the 3rd run with the ABS off

oh and for those who didn't know I do now have a digi cam  and did take some pics of a NICE Mk1 Escort RS 2000 that was there along with alot of subies untill the batt died but as soon as I resize them and clean them up I will try to find a way to post them so beware and also the majority was open class cause friends that took pics during PGT only took a few of my car and that was it

It was a Blast!! Rained all day Saturday putting the field in great shape for Sunday. The RallyX school was great but really chewed up the muddy field. Sunday was cold and windy and mostly dry; last part of the afternoon run was deluged with rain and really slowed the cars down. USMB group did well in all classes. I've got a few pics from the rallyX school....no action shots, sorry. I got to ride with Mudrat in my Brat who lit up the PGT class running for times only; thanks John, I had a ball and learned a few things about my car. We still dominate Truck/SUV class (now the Lite Truck class)....more on this after I get some sleep. Someone was out in the field taking lots of photos...hope it was the PDX photo guy since he takes some good shots. Some of my shots can be found in the photo gallery: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showgallery.php?cat=663

It was pretty cool mud was a flyin......Abit chilly with the wind. Mudrat kicked some butt... I just came to watch and support the subies! Maybe next time I'll be ready with some mudtires.

Do you have a website for the photographer?

Hey Ed I was talking to the guy and he is friends with Travis so check his site sometime soon

Some feedback and pix from other boards and people. I've just copied and pasted what I received. However, if you don't have Broadband it'll take forever to download the pix; I've got comcast and it's still slooooooow.

I also did a small review on my forum, as well as posted some pictures. I hope to get some of the film up later this week.

Jasmine and I had a great time! It was great meeting such a large group

of supportive and fun people. I put the pictures we took online. We

didn't get everyone "on film", but feel free to grab anything you like,

and share your own :).

Yea, me too; I've already checked 5 times since 5:30 this morning when I got up!

Jason, Geo-crap sucks. Just post your pics to the gallery. It works easy and then you don't run out of bandwidth when everyone is trying to look at them.

Hey thanks Ed, For letting me Run your Brat.....It runs Out real Well.....:) And It does Fling Mud Good Too.....:D:eek::D

Had a Blast as Usual.....Talked to Ken today, he said you ran pretty good in the afternoon....Wish I could Have stuck around, but I had to get back and Work some more.....Good to see such a USMB turn out there......

Can't wait to see the time results, I put the Brat down as Time only for Open Class, Not truck or Production GT, so we shall see how I did UN-Officially....... ;)
