Well guys and ghouls I have joined the ranks of

the Gen I Brat owners.

I plan on making a matching pair with the Brat go-cart I own.

She is a 78 and has 60 kmi. I am the third owner.

She was pasted down from father, who bought it new,

to son to me.

Son is in his 40's.

Very little rust and she has led a good garaged life.

I may get spanked by the pretty one when she finds out.....

good thing it has a cap, I need to sleep in her!!

Ohh nice score Skip...looks like a beauty...how about some more pics? I love those years of brats and would almost give up my RX to find one like that!..almost.

:D

I think you purchased a fine apartment.

You'll get used to it..

Thanks Doc, I have an 88 RX also

but I have been wanting a Gen I for

quite some time.

Here are a few more shots.

I hope the paint will come back

with a bit of ????

Wow, except for the exhaust not being original, that car looks really incredibly stright and clean for its age! I like your idea of a matching pair, but the question begs asking, which will they be matched to? The brown brat or the red (?) go kart?

NICE!!!! What potential!.. I think the paint might come back with some compound and a buffer.

WOW Seems like the past couple days have been good for a few of us....getting our dream Subes!

Congrats!

Are there more Brats in your area, Skip? It seems that north of Pittsburgh they are rare. I've only seen one here...but i've seen it multiple times.

What does the green bumper sticker say? I can't quite make it out from the pic.

NICE BRAT!

  Congrats! Welcome fellow diosaur jockey.

Let me know what you need fast.I have a little bit of tan/brown interior goodies for other EA71's and maybe some Brat specific.

Cheers

Thanks for all the replies folks.

The matching color will be gold

The color the real Brat was when new.

Connie, the coup on the coupe

out does this by a long shot,

and you paid about half what I did

The MooseNS of man deserves kudos for

treating you righteous.

I was going to send you a personal "WaHoo!"

on the new baby.

Sorry Snow and so I don't have possession yet

Will let yins know about the view an such.

Paul- if there is such a thing as a center console?

or a dash with out a crack?

Was going to break the news tonight but lost the nerve---

better than loosing .....

is Jane Bobbit in the house??

SCORE one for the Skipper! That was the same decal I had on my original white, blue interior... worth the price for the decal alone! AWESOME!

Skip? Is that Subaru Badge on the right side of the hood original? I never had one on the first one or this one either.

You mean Lorena Bobbit??? ouch!!

My guess is that his wife's name is Jane... Skip would never make that mistake. I hope.

I've got a stage I that doesn't do you too much good unless you get desperate.I shall dig deep within all sources. One guy stopping by tomorrow has a serious collection, and he's not a board member.I'll see what he has for you.

Hey,if you have my number still please call me tomorrow.....preferably while I'm at the workshop late in the AM or in the afternoon.

Is that Subaru Badge on the right side of the hood original?
Yes,that's where it belongs. Now for punishment for not knowing that, you must drive southwesterly for around 150 miles on Saturday.

Hope you can make it.

Wish Skip could too.

I wish it were only 150 miles... my arithmetic is bad... it takes 3 hours with not getting lost AND breaking the speed limit (by a whole bunch, I might add...), I'm innocent! I wasn't driving :)

What do you think?:)
