Featured Replies

you`ll see some big numbers on this thread. i think there is one guy around here with 500k on his (not the original motor tho)

When I was looking I drove an 84 wagon with 252k miles, the engine was in good shape, rest of the car was not. I know that kind of mileage isnt unusual with these cars.

I have justa a bit over 60k on my 87 brat..

I win:banana:

Nope i def win with almost 60,000 on my 83 gl sedan...haha oh this is supposed to be high milage. my mistake. :)

my personal best is 253k on my (formely mine) white wagon...

ran perfect...

and its new owner Burtonsnowman drove it 500 miles home the day he bought it.

301,379 and counting.

Daily winter driver. Starts and runs effortlessly every time.

(Edit) Oh yeah, it's a 1983 GL 4WD wagon

There's some dude in Europe that has 800,000 original kilometers on his gen 3 Legacy. Apparently, his job is delivering trailers all over the continent.

253987 on my 87 gl and 318646 on my 88 and 201887 on my 92 legacy
Doesn't Bucky 92 have like 32k on her coupe?

Jack..my 82 GLF coupe is up to around 38,000 on her now..and she is running great...sometimes you just have to run them!

My 92 Loyale is still a baby too with 193,000

Frank in PA had around 230K on his '92 SVX.

I have 245K on an '89 XT6 autospastic, and an estimated 280K on my GL-10 (original mileage on the XT, who knows on the GL0-10)

Also have a '94 Justy, original everything including clutch, 117,780 as of today.

My Brat has just done 72000km (43000miles roughly)

The vortex has done 328000km (200k miles roughly)

Both as far as I know are are on original engines.

Well, seems everyone is posting there little numbers I will join in.

The dually EA81 I have has about 230,000km on it. Body is at almost 280,000km. But not much rustm which is nice. I don't think it has ever been on a beach, and thank god for that!

89 Brumby / Brat

211,000 miles.

Target: Moonshot. 238,000.

Slow coolant leak waiting for warm weather to find.

Running strong.

Over and out.

228K and counting on the 89 GL wagon - body will give out before the motor does (salt induced cancer)

236k miles before friend rolled and destroyed a 89wagon running strong(smoked tho: he chose k&n oily air filter).

218k miles on a 91sedan 4wd that finally puked its auto 3spd tranny!(the old guy never humbled his way over 45-50mph)

The above is the reasons I got a soob, starting 9 years ago, only had two since then (on my second)

.

My personal best was 166k miles running absolutely perfect,dl wagon 4wd ,even oil leaks were nearly non-existent....gave it away running(body destroyed).

Currently at 146k miles in a 5spd sedan (93), recently let loose to 6500 rpm and no smoke!

All Ea82, carb oem, and spfi oem.:burnout:
