Wow! That thing looks great! Post more pics when it's lifted.

DRRRRROOOOOOOLLLLLL. Wow that looks like a new car. I love the second pic where you can see the reflection of the light on the hood. I'm probably a bit weird around here cause i only have a 2wd and dont go wheeling but i love the stance that it has right now. It got a sorta rally car stance to it.

EDIT: shouldnt this be in the older generation of subarus not historic :)

looks awesome. i love the 15 inch pugs on it as well

Lift it??? leave that pretty thing on the ground... you'll probably just end up trashing it otherwize

yeah thats what people like to tell me, but thats the interest i had in picking one up! i doubt im really gonna beat on it though.

She sure looks purty! If you'd rather have a faded moss green hatch, I'd trade you straight across

Well if it was me i would get a beat up hatch that runs good dirt cheap and lift that one and leave the one you have alone. Keep it looking good.

I think if you painted the inside of the spokes (where it is usualy black) the same color red as the car it would be look pretty cool. Anyways that is one very cherry hatch. Mabey toss on a weber and a little exhaust work so you can really apreciate the true subaru sound.

that is one beautiful hatch!! wish we could find cars in nice shape like that around here, but Wisconsin winters have a bad habit of eating them alive.

I am with hatchsub on this one - keep that beauty the way she is and get another to lift/offroad

Wow!:slobber:

The last time I saw one that clean was 1988!

Keep the original rims just so you can make it bone stock when you don't need the clearance.

Nice Work!

i don't think they've been painted, i bought them off ebay so i wouldnt know...all did was try to clean them up a bit.

thats in great shape, looks nice. the reward : priceless!

I fix my own too, even after previous owners call them junk. Alot of patience into things taken for granted. Looks great! like the red.:)

this hatch is not junk, and never has been considered that. the previous owner took better care of this car than anyone i have ever met. every single little tiny itty bitty teeny weeny detail is pretty much cherry.:slobber: he even replaced all of the hoses in the engine compartment with brand new, higher grade hose. with the way that he took care of this car, im suprised he sold it, especially for 500 bucks:confused: ... it did need alot of help from a small accident up front, but.....

little tiny itty bitty teeny weeny detail? nice phrase! :-p

how was the accident?
