What Have You Done to your Soobie lately? (Please post in here and keep it going)

Went out this morning prior to taking of on some adventures (well.... to go to the café for some quality coffee lol) and decided to just quickly wipe down the windows. Which spiraled out of control and became a razor blading session of the glass in order to fix the ugliness that was the PO's piss-poor attempt at DIY window tinting (purple, no less) and even more piss-poor attempt at removing it from the the rear windows. I now have mildly nice looking glass in Subie Q.

Vacuumed out the BRAT from all the rodent accumulation the other day as well as shampooed the interior, now looks rather decent. Need to find something to was my UNCRACKED dash pad :eek::eek: and then slap a new cover on it.

Fired it up today after getting a new set of keys for it (they won't go into the start position though so had to undo the switch in the back and bypass the key itself) and getting the steering column unlocked to find that in addition to cutting my brand new radiator hose, stealing the negative cable for the battery, the OEM jack and tools and tire wrench, some thieves also cut the exhaust off right after the bends at the head :mad::mad:. At least it runs though so I'm happy with that and all I have to do now is find the vacuum leak so I can give it some gas, and yes, all the hoses are hooked up.

Washed my Outback as well and realized how scratched to snot the passenger side is from me always shoving it into the bushes on the trails. Oh well.

Using steel I had laying around in the garage I made a hitch mount bike rack!

I still need padding where the bike sits (for other people's bikes that aren't beat to hell). But it works awesome, really happy

Oh yah, eh hoser!?

oh yeah, just hose off the chunks. all the grease and oil underneath makes a great sealant. and wax just makes the dents and rust stand out more:)

Not what "I" did but just had a front end toe adjustment (Schwabbie) on the Brat. OMG what a difference! Was chewing the hell out of my tires. Even better, was done no charge!

Pulled and inspected the spark plugs.... PO didn't bother gapping them at all, they ranged from .036ish to one at a whopping .065 gap!!

Properly gapped, anti seized and installed=mo' bettah runnins now.

New (used for me) tires for the Soobie.. Firestone 205/60r14 Firehawks on my

I didnt say to buy that one, I said to search ebay and pointed one out.

Thanks for finding one for $1.99, Ill be looking for some eventually. Not right now, I bought another decal for my windshield.

I don't really like stickers, but I figure I can pull off the original one and it will be stealth awesome :D

"Almost Genuine" ;)

Going to be installing a Timing Kit on my buddy Jon's '96 Brighton (Phase-I EJ22) tomorrow.

I have ground down a rust spot on the rear door of TW10, hit it with some ceramic primer and then Satin Black and "BOOM!" no more rust spot. Rustolium cars are so easy to fix.
