  1. Jackpot! Good to hear. We all here at the USMB know how much of a love/hate relationship you have with that coupe.
  2. Good luck, again. I always look forward to seeing the pictures of your project. Hope to hear good news later.
  3. Thanks for the advice guys. I will try and pay more attention to what its doing here in a few when I leave work.
  4. I did not replace the rear rotors. I assumed it was front being that my dash shakes violently and I do not feel anything in the seat to suggest anything from the rear. Wouldn't a bad strut give me issues in suspension when going down the road, not just in braking? I have zero noise from there if I hit a bump.
  5. Good grief I hope not. Money as tight as it is, I had to scrounge up the money for pads and rotors. I will check the steering components next chance I get, weather permitting.
  6. Been almost two years. I hope he get the problem resolved by now.
  7. I've managed to clog a heater core with that stop leak stuff. Good luck man, lets hope your right about the core. Sounds like it though.
  8. Outback Sedan in my opinion. You should see the ground clearance these things have.
  9. I bought my RS with a bad front end vibration when braking that would shake the whole dash. I just passed it off as warped rotors and been saving up for new ones. I installed the new pads and rotors Saturday. The after-installation drive I noticed a slight difference in stopping distance but the violent shaking has yet to go away. What else could this be? -Kyle
  10. Good looking car man, can't get enough pictures. I am going to be the first to give you the head gasket warning and urge you to purchase an aftermarket temperature gauge. You also landed something special with those wheels.
  11. Here is you a good read: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131755
  12. I wasn't aware of this issue on the outbacks, but on the 02 WRX's there is a bad problem with fuel smell as well. Why I understood it, the problem lies in the fuel lines that they tend to have slight cracks and cause the smell. Of course this may not apply to you.
  13. Looks good man, can't get enough engine swap pictures.
  14. RS took a coupe turns to start this morning but finally did. I am thinking battery might not last another winter. We haven't seen temperatures like this since '03 so it has been a shock for everyone. I took a screen-shot for such occasion:
  15. Thought you were running the stock SVX tranny. Would love to see some videos when you get that thing going.
  16. Doesn't look too bad. I love the "yeah it's fast sticker". Would love to see some more pictures and interior shots.
