  1. I thought it sounded terrible. Maybe with an unequal length header it would do it justice.
  2. I want to say Aspen White. I'm really happy tonight, just got my STi catback put on and the 5ziegen exhaust removed. Gonna sell the thing on craigslist for chunk change.
  3. This needs to be renamed the Impreza owner's thread.
  4. Thanks for the honorable mention. I have not had a chance to take more pictures of mine because of the crappy weather. You got real lucky to find a BRP sedan in 5 speed, what I originally wanted but settled for a coupe instead. I'm up to 102k on my old girl and should be getting timing belt changed when income tax comes in and my STi catback put on this week.
  5. Correct. I ran into the same problem when I tried to install a 04 STi catback on my 91 Legacy. You would have to lengthen the pipe by about 4 inches and rotate the flange. I believe this is the same case I am about to run into on my '00 RS.
  6. What I used in my BRAT. I worked for the bearing company INA for 3 years and Harley-Davidson would order the 6207 bearings by the hundreds. The 6 denoted it came with a seal I believe.
  7. Take some pictures of your project. I hope that I never have to join you in the RS head gasket club though. I too am grateful that ours is not the DOHC that came in the 98's; which I read were notorious for the internal leaks.
  8. No problem man, figured you would need something like that. -Kyle
  9. +1 to MWE. Marshall Wolf is a great guy and can cut you a deal if you tell him your a member here.
  10. I'm sure its cool driving it around this time of year.
  11. I run rain-x ones on my Impreza and my wife's Accord. They have a nice initial performance but after about a month they lose their luster. I have yet to find a wiper brand that I like though.
  12. A guy at an independent Subaru shop told me once that he just takes the fans out and it gives him plenty of room.
  13. Bit of an FYI. If car is AWD make sure it is towed with all 4 wheels on the ground and in neutral or on a roll back. Or, if they must tow with the front wheels off the ground, the driveshaft is disconnected.
  14. Please post a picture of the window sticker.
  15. Its cause they can do it in their outbacks and not worry about their insurance taking a big jump. I do it in my RS or someone in an WRX/STi does it and theirs shoots up. That or the officer couldn't catch the STi.
  16. Here in my neck of the woods its all 90-94 Legacies, occasional Loyale, crap ton of Bajas, 3 or 4 SVX's, 3 or 4 WRX's, my RS coupe, and an 04 WRB STi.
