If it's getting close and we're still a few short I'll register 2 more cars.Bringing them will be another story. But I think we can kick in a few bucks and get our 25 if we need to by adding a few vehicles. Should it come to that I'll gladly allow any New Englanders (locals in general) to drive one of my cars down. Besides,my daily pride 'n joy is my Turbo wagon these days. And my touring wagon is my truck/tank/off roader also deserving worship. Would I register my wife's '96 Brighton?......only if absolutely necessary. But that's only because I have older Subarus too.If you only have a Legacy don't let that stop you. Trust me,there were WAY too many new Saabs there, and Volvos,to make a newer Subaru look out of place.

.....if people have slipped the tranny out without taking the exhaust down.dats wut i wanna noe.Or with just moving the exhaust and not the engine. Looking to see if someone had done more than one method and knew the quicker or easier route. I haven't had time to get back to it today.I'll be there later when its dark and raining. Talk to me..... -
Victim:1987 S/R 5spd Turbo wagon from outer space I've got a clutch kit, rear main seal, sweet flywheel from Skip also to be installed. With that said, can I do all this with just yanking the tranny back?Drop the exaust? Not drop the exhaust? I just started taking stuff off tonight.I'll be all over it tomorrow weather permitting. My current plan was to jack the motor-unless my friend comes through with the lift-roll the motor forward, then lower the tranny with it's crossmember and lower it as I back it off the front crossmember. Also noticed the power steering pump mounting bolts are way under the intake.Do you guys disconnect the lines if you're not lifting the intake?I normally put an EA82 n/a power steering pump off to the side when lifting. But,if I don't have to lift to swap the tranny,etc........ Any advice appreciated.

THere's one in Milford,CT The house is "not fit for occupancy". The car is covered with mold.THe seats are wasted.Sunroof-looks non factory-apparently leaks. That funky metalic light green with light brown interior. Seats were formerly known as the Bay City Rollers stage wear.(plaid). Has wagon wheels and a roof rack also.Evenhas the chrome wheel trim rings. I have no idea if I'll even be able to get this but it sure looks obtainable. The property has been looking like a junkyard for years. This is the last car.Been sitting there for a few years now.

I am first in line for a blue dashboard....got it? Seriously, that's the one piece I'd run you off the road for...just kidding again.....but I'm really in need of one in excellent shape.Yours look far worse than mine but that's Florida. I've got a heap of stuff,as does Subaru3 and a few others.Let me/us know if we can help. If you go to restore it be sure to email me.If you just want to use it for a while be sure to let me know when you're all done with it. -

quad lights do not necessarily mean a GL as there were quad lights on Standard models as well. Be sure to email me when you want to let it go. A67L-etc. is a 4WD wagon Post on the board or email as you see what parts youy need.I'll be rounding up some donor cars in the next month or so. Good luck and welcome to the club!!!! -

Need some speed@rpm numbers
moosens replied to TROGDOR!'s topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
my d/r was doing 4400 @95mph just yesterday. so stay away from 4k...... typically-70mph = around 3200 or so. Just chill out and keep the license for a bit.Save it for the track! -
Let the forward line drain down, there's not much in there. Then make sure you have your new pump ready.Take the feed line off the old pump and don't waste any time.Slam it on the new pump and you'll be done before you can bitch about it.Put your thumb over the end for that second or two if needed. You'll be fine. Got an extunquisher?

Saturday was a total kid-honey do-day....a.k.a. washout!!! Sunday I have the whole day.....as of this minute.Call my cell phone anytime after 9AM or earlier if you did get ahold of her and need to go early.Doesn't matter to me,an earlier start is fine if needed.Or if you get her on Sunday call me and I can probably go with no trouble.Just give me a good 30 minute lead, which is about what it'd take for you to get down my way anyways. Otherwise I'll be heading to Northford as early as possible to pick up my s/r 5spd.Then it's back to the shop and start working.Probably doing small jobs like brakes and oil change on my touring wagon....or if you stop by we'll attack the heap....we'll see.No pressure to come down. The weather is nice and we all have things to do. I have a fairly free week ahead of me with the exception of some tile work,painting,plumbing,installations....the usual.
