  1. disconnect the battery for half an hour, and then hook it up, and let the car idle for 10 minutes. This resets some stuff...its worth a shot :-/ Any check engine lights on? That may be causing it to run rich...
  2. Its a manual. I'll let you know later if i'll be able to make it. As of last week I lost most my vision in my right eye...so i'll have to see. (Hah...that was a pun)
  3. What kind of offroading? I am about 35 minutes from the Ohio boarder. I drive a stock Outback...so if it is more than just some mud, I don't think i'd be down for any 'real' offroading. Keep us posted.
  4. I don't know if they have them for a WRX...but my Outback came with a hitch from UHaul and you cannot see it. You might want to give them a try.
  5. Auto Zone has better prices...but AAP carries Puralator filters and NGK plugs... I have never used NAPA...I dont think they have any around me. I dislike the people at AAP...they are shady and nothing is ever in stock.
  6. If you log onto the mysubaru thing on subaru.com I think it might tell you what recalls still need fixed. You might also want to check out http://www.cars101.com/recalls.html
  7. Next time I am at the dealer I might pick up a new radiator cap...I've never even thought about replacing it. Thanks for the tip.
  8. That'd be awesome for long trips when the cruise controll is being used.
  9. You might have found a few others who also had problems with their tranny...but for the number of cars sold I am sure it is a very small percent.
  10. Bah...nothing but NGK for my Subaru. Advance Auto Parts were out of Iradium and Platinum ones...so I had to settle with the V-Groove ones...they work great. They were $2 each.
  11. Get the silver wheels on the STi...they are not to bad... And the spoiler could come off.
  12. You seem to be getting a good price...so another $1500 wouldn't kill the deal Then again...you might never have to replace them.
  13. Did you plug the mass air flow sensor back in? (the electrical part right after the air box)

I think I might mount it on the dash in my OBW right above the heater and ac controls and run the wires down into the heater vent area and run them into the engine compartment so I can get power to it and whatnot... I am tempted to do it.
  15. Are you filling it the knotch or keeping it between the two lines it is supposed to be between?
  16. That is odd. It says on their website that there is a air filter that will work in the 2005 Outback. If you want more air, maybe you should look into a cold air intake system or just rigging an open air intake onto the existing intake and getting rid of the air box.
  17. Yeah...the Sport means it is an Impreza. If it has the 2.2l engine (I think they do), then it should run for a very long time. I would also replace the plugs, wires, and all the filters...its cheap and wouldnt hurt. Good luck!
  18. Rotate your tires every 3,000 miles and you should be able to get the mileage they are supposed to. Also make sure they are balanced and allignged.
  19. 8.7% slow...so when it says you're going 60 MPH...you'll really be going 65.2. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html ----Check that out.
  20. People put the 16 inch WRX rims on Legacies all the time. I don't think you'll have any issues besides your speedometer being off.
  21. Check out http://www.cars101.com and search. It should be listed for what models had them.
