I did some home repairs for a Guy who offered to pay me with a couple of small LED lamps, one for each corner of the Bumper of my Wife's car, I thought it was good idea to swap the Halogens with Leds, so, I worked changing a toilet, repairing some piping fixtures, and some roof lamps... But the guy gave me this, instead the two small ones: He told me that he thought he had a pair, but that is a single one with 24 LED's ... and I really don't like it; the light pattern can Not be adjusted properly and those provides too much Glare that blinds incoming traffic, which is Dangerous... in the end I had to take that lamp with me, and now I am trying to sell it among the people I know...

In fact, the super deep reaching illumination of the H.I.D.'s on my "BumbleBeast" already saved my life, since I am able to see farther; once I saw an incoming dark horse that was running under a thunderstorm, to the Road, enough far to safely reduce the speed on my Subie, and allow the horse to pass crossing the road. Yes, there are many road Dangers in Honduras, and sometimes animals escape from their fences, due to thunders, fallen trees, etc... Kind Regards.

The Repaired door Handle, already have two weeks working Absolutely Flawlessly, and according my Wife, the handle needs much less movement to open the door, than before. This repair was super fast and easy; I hope this ideas will be useful for other car's owners. Sometimes you don't need to buy another part to fix a problem with your car... Kind Regards.

After drilling the hole, I slowly inserted a ⅛" Ø X 1½" long, self tapping Screw, with the aim of joining the two parts of the Plastic piece, back together: Finally, I filled all the openings on said Plastic part, with 4 minutes JB Weld glue, to make it Solid and Stronger; because the part came with certain empty spots:

Suddenly, the Driver's door Handle, broke and I couldn't open the Door from the outside anymore; so I decided to remove the door Handle and see what happened: The plastic piece that moves along the Handle, to pull the metal rod that opens the Door, was fissured, broken in two; so I grabbed my twenty years old Ryobi drill, and using a ⅛" bit, I drilled a vertical hole that went down along the broken part: I already had fixed the loose spring's Hookup, long ago...

So, I took the Family to another weekend trip, to a small Mountain Village, The full story and photos are ~► Here, but lI'll share some on this post. I was at a Hilltop when I spotted this... ...first gen Kia Sephia (a Korean Ford Escort), I used my Camera's Zoom to see its Enormous... ...LED light bars ... ... so, I walked down to take a Closer photo, see: I remember people were complaining about the Glare, from HID lights Retrofitted on Halogen Headlamps... ...this must be even Worse. I refuse to install LED bars on my Cars.

We Never tried to make you feel bad; in fact we only tried to Help, the idea of the wooden plank I wrote, has been helping me since long ago; I did that 22R / Trans swap with the help of some friends using that idea, also I changed the engine on my wife's car like that... etc... Back on topic, I always remove all the big things I could from the engine bay, such like Radiators with their fans, in order to make enough room for unexpected movement of the engine. Please take care, be sure that whatever you'll use, is not going to move / slip \ break. Good Luck, Kind Regards.

I was using a short and fat screwdriver, to adjust the Fuel / Air Mixture on the Weber Carburetor at idle speed on my EA82 engine, and Accidentally I Dropped it against the Naked Timing Belts, which somehow expelled it immediately, against the spinning radiator fan, who threw it down to the skid plate ... ... Miraculously, nothing bad happened, but somehow the situation and the fast metallic hitting noises, scared me during the event...

I use a Squared wooden plank, placed one side on a Wall, and a truck on the other side... ...and a chain... we're tight on money here.

Let me add that also, when the Clutch cable is about to Break, it stretch a little enough to provide the symptoms you described; so, if the adjustment fails, maybe it is time for a new Cable; especially if the one on your '94 impreza is the original one... Kind Regards.

As far as I know, the Early (the '85 models, made from late 1984 to mid 1986), and Middle (made from late 1986 to 1989) Editions of the EA82 engined Sedans and Wagons, had extra ventilation ducts, for blowing A/C air to the Passenger's feet, also to the Passenger's Windows, like my "BumbleBeast" but, as far as I know, the Late (made from 1990 to 1994) Editions of the EA82 engined Sedans and Wagons, did Not had such ventilation ducts; so, maybe the "missing" lines, were never installed from factory; and since everything works alright, I kindly suggest you to let everything as is. In my case, I can Slide myself under my "BumbleBeast" to do some repairs, despite that I am a 6' tall, 250 lbs guy, the reason is the 2" body lift, plus the 2" tire lift on my Subie... but it is a tight space for sure... Kind Regards.

In that case, there should be a tiny (1/8") plastic tube, like the other two, for the connections on the Photo's upper side, and a vacuum hose for the lower side; the Setup on your '93 differs from the setup on my '85, but as far as I can remember, if there is no Vacuum provided to that circuit, the buttons for the A/C system on the dashboard, will not work to distribute the air flow to the desired places; but A/C will engage if the rest is alright, and the air will flow to the front only; so you should do a search for those two in that area. The vacuum source comes to that part, from the Vacuum Accumulator Bottle which is located on the engine bay, on the passenger's side, under the windshield; and it takes vacuum from the intake manifold. it worth check if everything is still there, correctly attached, as well. Loyale 2.7 Turbo replied to palfer's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXI kindly suggest you to check the Relays, you might Swap relays with other known good ones and see if the issue happens again. I've seen this happens with certain relays as they gets old and being used constantly, due to heat... Kind Regards.

I kindly suggest to check the Brake fluid Lines, because the Flexible Rubber Lines and also the Metallic Lines could become Partially obstructed, due to several reasons; the most common reason for partial obstruction on flexible rubber lines, is old brittle rubber disintegrating from the inside. A piece of dirt could make the lines to work as a Check Valve; and the Metallic lines might have a small Bent, on a curve... Kind Regards.
