  1. How does the undercarriage look on that. Its not too bad outside for our part of the country. You ever want to make your money back let me know.
  2. My GL Brat has them. GL= T-Tops, d/r 4wd, Tach, Volt, Oil Pressure Gauges in cluster, optional a/c, intermitant wipers DL= s/r 4wd, and none of the other stuff
  3. Well some have said you'll have to drill holes, I have personally a 86 std 2wd hatch that already had the holes and nuts there in stock form. Best bet is to get the car and see. Aparently they are not all the same...
  4. I like the way they looked on McBrat's hatch. How much would you have to have for a set. If its not too much I will consider it, but I've got the full four square already here in spare parts.
  5. Thats what I was thinking as well. I'm also thinking on a gl dash swap too, if I can find a good condition grey one, then just yank all the wiring/relays and all from the front to the plugs that go to the back of the car. May be a lot of work, but i'm getting a deal on the car, and it'll end up being cheaper in the long run that finding/buying a gl in the same condition.
  6. OOPS. Just niticed I qutoed you. I meant to quote GD for that one.
  7. I'm not trying to start another arguement, and I meant to post this up. But GD if you recall my post about the 86 std 2wd. You said that the car wouldn't have anywhere to mount the mustache bar hangers. Well it does... Threaed holes and all. And I parted out the car before realizing that you were WRONG...
  8. Take out the front axles. But I would strongly recommend having some old outer ends to put back in and torque the castle nut, since they are what gives the bearing its load.
  9. I've searched and can't find anywhere its been mentioned about fitting the four eye stuff to a two eye car. Any leads or pointers?
  10. I don't think it would be a good idea. steel pistons in an aluminum block is just not my idea of a good thing to do. Pop for some forged pistons. If thats the route you want to go with a build.
  11. Without new people asking questions, or old people covering stuff again, what would this sight be really. Maybe we should push to just have it all archived and close the place down. Would that make you happy. If you don't have anything constructive or informative, WHY BOTHER POSTING
  12. I really had that feeling from this post. Good Job on realism though:headbang: :headbang:
  13. They did one again witht he ea81 wagon and three others of that day. I don't remember the magizine though.
  14. Most likely what you are seeing is a cat and a resinator.
  15. First gen legacy radiators have a plastic screw type fitting on the passengers side top of the radiators that were put there for air bleeding such as this. At least all the non turbo's I've seen have had it.
  16. They have their share of parts. Not as much specifically for them as the ej20's but parts interchange pretty simply
  17. Well I can say yes, when we were first test driving the 06, the wife killed it quite a few times before getting the hang of it. She hadn't drove an awd stick in a long time, at least that was her excuse:)
  18. Only if they have the feedback carb do they have computers pertaining to engine control.
  19. , since this is the closest thing to a raise hand I see....
  20. I do the same thing, with the gas and shift tchnique. I haven't noticed any revving oin our 06 when I do it. I'm fairly sure my friends 05 wrx doesn't dbw. But it has been a while since I helped him work on it.
  21. I just looked at that picture really good. It's been photo chopped.
  22. Best bet would be to check to see if the intakes swap. I've read several places that they do not. www.legacycentral.org I've researched doing the ej25 dohc heads on my ej22t, and they all say you muxt use the ej25 intake mani. Could be different though because they ej25 you are working on is sohc.
  23. Its not. 4.44's are pretty rare over here also. Early legacy manual non turbo is the best place to find a DIRECT BOLT in diff. They are r160 diffs with the 4.11's. I've got one ready to be thrown into the brat.
  24. No problem at all. I'll send you a pm when I get it.
