  1. im on the list now, i wont be able to do every weekend, maybe once a month. unless we can get some people together to hit evens creek. down in the auburn area.
  2. lol ya thats true. i changed out my plugs last night, looks like someone didn't know how to gap them, one was almost closed. so its better now, so today i need to reset my timing and i hope it will be all better.
  3. meeting at 7am at the jack in the crack off I-5 in tukwila, leaving 7:30am friday and heading south.
  4. ive been running 28's for a few weeks, and they rubed like crazy on cranked suspension even with trimming and banging with a BFH. im sure it could be done but your have to trim, no i mean cut the crap out of your fenders.
  5. well i think its only getting like 17MPG right now, im gonna rebuild my weber today and put that on and see how she does. like i said i have to have it in 3rd or 4th to get up the slightest hill on the highway.
  6. ya scott go ahead, i would be honored. jeff im gonna try but thats a long drive up to mount vernon for me the weekend after the show, i might not be able to aford it. ill let you know for sure, i would LOVE to go but i need to watch my funds after the show. ive never seen that picture before, does look very close. i still have to finish my front bumper (extend the top bar to cover the corners of the fenders) and make the brackets for the rear bumper. as well try to get my car to run right, it cant push itself up a hill on the highway in 5th, im usually downshifting to 3rd or 4th to make them. its got no power at all right now.
  7. got it in and redone today. here are some decent pictures for now until the show. few more things to do yet before the show.
  8. ok i pre-registered but never recived a e-mail back, but also wondering how much for the mud pit? was wondering if that bit has been sorted out yet. also since i pre-registered but it states that camping is an another $10 per night, is that per person or per car? Thanks, Shean
  9. thanks again eric, well i took my wagon over to cap's place after work, ended up i swaped the driver and passenger front strut plates. so tomarrow ill have to stay after work and take it all back apart. ill have to make sure i remember to bring my welder so i can weld the bolts to the top of the plate so i dont have to try to hold the freakin things with a wrench.
  10. no its a 2inch lift from SJR, when i put the wheels back on after finishing the fronts where so bad the inside of the tire wasn't touching the ground. drove around the block and then it was fine. i lowered the suspension on the front a little and its not crazy cambered now but its still REALLY stiff. eric toss me your phone number so i can call before i head over to make sure i dont wake you up again. also i didn't have to pound the inner fneders maybe i did put the lift blocks on the wrong sides (swaped driver w/ passenger dunno?)
  11. thanks one eye, that worked. didn't even think about that. got everything in and had to ajust my front suspension down because the tires were WAY positive cambered. my only thing now is the front end is REALLY bouncy and i only have it cranked up about 1inch. its like i lost suspension travel. is that normal for the front to get so stiff after the lift blocks?
  12. on the greddy read my the wire colors and i can tell you where they go. i know 2 of them are 12 switched, the black is ground then the red i belive is 12 constant. i think it was the blue and green wire into the same wire as a 12 switched. thats how i installed them on WRX's and the like when i worked at the performance shop.
  13. ok scratch that, got the tops in, spot welded the bolts so they wouldn't spin on me on the strut extension. now i cranked my suspension to the lowest setting and still cant get the strut back into the knuckle. i can get it over the whole but the control arm wont drop enough to slip it in. i already removed the sway bar. any ideas before i pull the LCA from the subframe and get it that way.
  14. ok on the front (86 ea82 with 2inch SJR going in) what is the easiest way to get the blocks in above the strut? A: disconnect the swaybar and wrestle it in B: remove strut and bolt her in but how to get back into knuckle C: cuttin torch? (just kidding) i got the rear in in about 20 minutes by myself. have to sort out a few things like the diff drop the 19mm bolts are ether too short or too long as well as i am going to have to enlargen the wholes. i think i might just get some longer bolts and just run those instead of trying to run 2 pairs of hardware. thanks and for a faster responce hell give me a call at 206-245-9292 Thanks, Shean
  15. how can i get ahold of you the best? ive called 3 times and have yet to hear back. need to get your adress so i know where im soposted to go tomarrow to trade. please call me at 206-245-9292 ANY TIME i dont care how late it is please call me. or post your adress. or anyone that has his adress so i can find out where to go. Thanks, Shean
  16. if you have a small propane torch heat up the back size, it will loosen the bond on the glue. if not a heat gun or a hair dryer works as well.
  17. ya i pulled the driver outter cover to check the belt the other day and they look like they where done a little while ago, so i dunno. i was thinking of doing the nose job before the show. looks like this paycheck will be gone.
  18. ok so when i got my 86 wagon it ran like junk, ether no top end or no low end torque (i know for this car it should have a little) replaced the cap and rotor, vacume advance since it was bad, fuel filter under the car by the tank, checked timing and it will only run half way decent when its fully advanced. if i drop the timing to 10 it has ok bottom end but just wont accelerate. then when it is advanced all the way it has no power until atleast 2500rpms. any thoughts. its getting REALLY anoying. ive replaced the carb with another hitachi that came off one of my other 86's that ran fine. almost forgot. i just filled my tank, went 195 miles on 11.2 gallons. i try to shift under 3k in town and under 4k when gettin on the highway. also i did notice my altrinator putting out 18volts on the gauge. could that effect it? Thanks, Shean
  19. nice work. i like how innovative you are with your work.
  20. very nice. ive always loved the gen 1's. that was the first car i drove same color in fact. and i think the front bumper is awsome. very different that what everyone does and i like that.
  21. my 82 with 2inch lift. dont care if its pretty, would like your logo cut into it like the lift blocks for the struts. and dont want openings for drain and filter. i rather drop the skid plate to do that every 3 months then not and drop a engine.
  22. i was having the same issue with mine. ended up being the vacume advance on my dizzy was bad. had to advance it all the way to have top end and a decent bottom end. replaced that and its alot better now. i just know my carb is junk cause the accelerator pump is leaking and the choke is broke. waiting till payday to get the rebuild kit for my weber.
  23. ya i have 2 tow straps my self so we will be good there also. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!ONE11!!!
