  1. ya hate to tell you but upping your fuel pressure that much wont show any gains BECAUSE, your ECU is what controls the length of time the injector stays open, not the fuel pressure. if you want to see some hp/tq gains put in some lerger injectores and run about 7-15psi higher then STOCK, and that will be plenty, putting that much pressure on your stock injectores will most likly just blow the seals in it. they are made to operate at a certain psi, along with your fuel rails/fuel lines, and pushing that much pressure on a car that old with the stock components (most likly) just isnt smart.
  2. sorry but i doubt its an Oxygen sensor, it sounds like your TPS is bad or damaged, or the IAC is bad, i would take it to autozone and if its showing codes have them reed them, then come back, and if its not showing codes, then i would say do a good tune up. also how old are your cats, and how many miles on the car. another thing that is VERY IMPORTANT, these octane boosters and such, dont use them, the added alochol that they put into your gas tank is bad for cat's, there is a reason that the government puts a certain amount of alochol in gas, it is VERY corrosive and it will eat up your cats like nothing, there is no performance gain, no better gas milage and if you do get a better running car then there is some larger problem that you have with your car.
  3. i doubt its your TPG, but to find out hood up a DMM (digital Multi Meter) to the TPS, with the throttle plate closed it should read 0v and at wot (wide open throttle) it should read close to 5v. if it goofs up in any time that you are SLOWLY opening the throttle, or spikes or anything like that, the TPS is bad. but it sounds like your IAC (idle air controller) is bad. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE RESTORE, let me ask you this, is it good to have metal shavings in your oil? then why would you add metal shavings into your oil when you add restore? ya it may seat the rings or do what ever, but then it causes premature wear in the cylnders because of those added shavings and i would bet you will be finding your self a new turbo/engine in under a year.
  5. dont waste your money on Bosch plus, the platnum 4's, any time in the normal driving rpms the spark hits the side not the end of the probe, its only upper RPM it hits the end, also the bosch's that have more then one electrice probe, or per say split fires, are a waste because they thake up the area around the electrodes, meaning that its less air/fuel mixture to be around that spark energy, meaning less spark distribution. if you want plugs that will last and be best bang for your buck, get NGK's or Denso platnum or iridum plugs for our cars. bosch plugs are made for AIR COOLED ENGINES ONLY. if you want more information on this please PM me.

  8. do not get it, save your cash and get the K&N or atleast a Cool Blue from Accel, fram is crap, they are some of the wort filtration products on the market, do a search there has been many studies on them, they always fall in the back.
  9. you are very right, and yes this has the air suspension, i just hooked in some valves so it lets the air out of the struts and turns off the compressor with the flick of a switch which slams it on the ground.
  10. ok, to get it to look/hang correctally you need a welder and some hangers or take it to a shop, you need a different flange on your intermediate pipe and it need to be rotated from the stock one, also the hangers on the muffler need to be changed.

  13. ya thats why i like my EJ22, its easier then my EA82 wagon simply because the wire go to the coil on the top of the intake, rather then the fifth wire from the dizzy to coil and reaching back around to get the wires on the dizzy. Shean
  14. you should have gone with a different amp then that jensen, it actually onle puts out around 590, jensen amps are crap. otherwise i would say hide the rest of that stuff so no one decused to throw a brick through the window and have a nice new system.

  18. ok i just got a set of struts front/rear to replace my air suspension, what is the cheapest way to lower the car atleaset 1inch? no cutting stock springs, what about swaping in WRX springs, or something else?? Thanks, Shean

  20. well i was given yet another EA82 turbocharger and i had no use for it, well my boss at aaron's had just got a set of strut tower braces in a trade. the front STB was a MRT ajustable bar, and the rear is a cusco that is also ajustable, so i traded my turbo for the front and im trading some turbo heads for the rear. these where off an impreza wagon, and the front all i had to do was get the crusecontrol solinoid and rotate it down a tad so it would clear the bar. pictures will come once my mom finds the darn digital camera.   22. thanks, and ya i love it, i got my CB hooked up so now i just have to get some new tires, maybe some rims also, and get the windows tinted and i will be ready for arizona.
  23. see that was the thing, i pulles the cupholder out and got those 2 out, but i pulled the ashtray and couldn't find the other 2 last night, ill have to try again today in the daylight.
