how far is reiter pit form seattle? i want to get out in my wagon, since i built it i have yet to see what it can really do, one small thing by my house but it takes less then 2 minutes to make it through. is there anything closer to the sea-tac, burien, kent, des moines, auburn area?

Dumb spare-donut wheel / tire question...
The Scooby replied to kayakertom's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
yes, but tires machines at the local stores will not be able to do so, the valley of the rims are not deep enough to grab with most tire machines. -
ea82 Alternator issue??
The Scooby replied to codytotheh's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
the alt will only put out max volts above 2K rpms, so bring it up to about 2200rpms and check it again, should show 14.4 if its good. -
ya i made it myself, im not done yet, i will eventyally cap the ends of the square tube for more strength, as well as run more round tubing around the corner of the turn signals and such for more protection as well as being able to know where the corners are on the trails. very very true, i can't wait to swap in a carbed 2.2

took me about 2 hours to do the lift start to finish by myself. hardest part was the front, the rear took maybe 5 minutes, didn't even have to pull off the wheels. here is my wagon.

thanks it was alot of fun

i was looking for the same thing, i ended up going with a SJR 2inch suspension lift, 15inch alloy peugeot wheels, and some 215/75/15 wild cat tires. so far i can get everywhere i want to go, now its not a hard core wheeler, but it is alot of fun to go on logging roads, get to hunting/camping sites, and tredge around in 1ft deep snow with no problems.

i tore mine off against a tree on the drivers side, and today ripped off the passenger against a fence while sliding around in the snow. great lookin wagon, and i dont know what it is but i love the look of a subaru wagon with a roof basket, i can't wait to get mine.

"Just a little water over here"

easy way to get water out of a cylinder. pull the plugs and fill the cylinder with rubbing alcohol, it will stay at the bottom and push up the water, then it will evaporate and your good to go. -

The Scooby replied to Subarule's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
i have all the parts you need in stock and can ship them as well, when the weather gets better that is, i have yet to make it to work in a week because of the snow/icy roads. once it clears i can send them out. maybe tomorrow, but with it dumping snow right now with the 5+inches on the ground i doubt i will be able to get in within the next few days. -
