  6. I have quite a few schematics that were made during this conversion and I will be adding them to this thread as I scan them. Here are the first two additions.
  7. You want the highest pressure differential across the turbocharger, so as free flowing an exhaust as you can afford would be the way to go. On a turbo car, even our poorly designed EA engines, I would not go below 2.5" from the turbo back.

  12. Yes, the 2WD struts have the spring pirch mounted at least an inch lower on the strut housing when compared to the 4WD version. I'm going to use this difference to my advantage when lowering my wagon.
  13. What is your projected timeline for this project? I have been planning a similar swap into my turbo coupe and any insight you can give me would be awesome!
  14. I still have that guy and I do plan on making replicas, I'm just waiting for an appropriate time to start production. I've been toying with the idea of injection molded urethane so they could take a beating and not crack/shatter. What do you guys think about that?
  15. Heres the story: At about 20-30 mph, if I turn the steering wheel, my power steering makes a sound like there is air in my system. I don't beleive there are any leaks, but I'm not sure what to do. Does anyone know the procedure for bleeding the power steering system or anything else that might help me with this?

  17. I ran 87RON in my 84 T-wagon with out any problems, but since I have full exhaust now and plan on much more in the near future, I have recently switched to 92RON.
  18. 1985 GL hatch with 3" BYB lift, Rancho rear shocks and full stereo work. Street shoes are 15" Pug alloys/rubber. Currently working on a spare, built engine designed for low rpm power and finding a way to stuff a set of 28" TSLs under stock fenders...:-\
  19. They are only about 25lbs/in stiffer than a regular EA81 4wd spring, but they are shorter as well. I'll double check my FSM when I get home.
