  1. How would you work the brakes out? Oooooh...check out the Jeepster Commando behind that car on Page 1... (oops)
  2. Just keep the dang thing. It's cool, unique...bla bla bla KEEP IT!
  3. I thought so...but my Yota knowledge is not up to par! Anyway...what exactly are your plans for this frame? We need more details/updates/plans! Oh, and I probably won't ever grow burns like that (my Norwegian-ness...it makes my facial hair almost blonde - not cool. Dang my Nordic blood!). But here is your next step in becoming a true manly man.
  4. Yeah. I knew about the "not fitting" part, but I see so many single-tubo cars making beastly amounts of power (more easily), it almost seems silly to do it (except that you could say to your friends "I have a twin-turbo Subaru"). What kind of power did those make? And what were the production years?
  5. HA! Nice...I want that on a shirt/mug/bumper sticker/license plate ring.
  6. Is it getting lifted? Or is it a street monster? AutoX? RallyX? (try to pass it off as stock EA81!) Drag beast?
  7. I had a similar shuddering problem on a 2000 Outback...turned out to be a broken swaybar. (But I guess you would have seen that when you looked under the car)
  8. I'veheard this is possible, but what engines are these? Is it an EJ20H? And did they only come in Jap-spec Legacys? I guess that since I'm in the States, I haven't heard much about twin-turbo engines.:-\
  9. Dang. That sucks for prospective 5-luggers. CRAP!
  10. My guess is...extended cab - '84 or '85. Or maybe that is '83-or-earlier...I can't tell. WHAT IS IT? edit: Also, I should really be eating my broccoli and drinking my coffee with grounds...so I can grow sideburns like that (for the love of all that is holy, what's your manly facial hair-growing secret?)
  11. I love how this "interesting picture" turned into a height discussion...
  12. Man, thast would fit right in out in my neck of the woods. I rolled around in my hatch for a while with a lawn chair on top...
  13. Nice. BRATs are so danged cool. Maybe someday I'll own one. Those tires are Interco (Super Swamper) TrXus STS. From what I've heard, they have really good street life, but not so great mud clearance (as you can see by the lack of void between lugs). They're kind of a "mild" off-roader - a strong tire with way better street characteristics than other Super Swamper models.
  14. He heeee...upside down land...
  15. That basically describes the best engine anyone could ever make.
  16. Good grief... Yup. It's decided. Subaru owners are the craziest car freaks on the planet.
  17. Well, duh...any car that is even remotely close to fast absolutely HAS to have a ricey look! How cool would a fast car be without plastic hanging down to the ground to greatly increase coefficient of drag and look ridiculous?! Take, for intance, the STi. In stock form, that is one ugly-arse car. But once you wrap it in oddly shaped plastic trim pieces (that look strikingly similar to something that would come out of a LEGO kit) the same car looks SWEET! (whew...sorry for being so rude and insulting...it comes to me sometimes) [/end rant]
  18. No way. It would not fit.
  19. What if it is...? You never know. I believe the goal is to get monstrous amounts of power out of it via carburetion. Am I right, monstaru/brian?
  20. It's rare. It's probably worth a pretty penny.
  21. Not a chance. Totally different car. Try over on xt-6.net. They'll hook you up with a body kit and a ton of knowledge.
  22. I'd say try over on Legacy Central. Some of those guys have done it and have documented success.
