Please advise if I should repair my Legacy
The Dude Abides replied to dkckekmk's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX150k is nothing for these. As long as is driveable for your kids after its fixed go ahead and fix it. They are tanks and super reliable. You might need to be replacing wheel bearings at some point but i hear on the newer subarus it isnt that bad of a job. If you want to donate it though, you can donate it to me.

My '92 Landcruiser: Safariwagon-II
You did drive a subaru for quite a few years. You do realize this is a subaru board right. No offence tom but these days your starting to sound like more of a yota purist then anything. Sorry, subaru owns the snow. Balanced drivetrain with full time awd and lightweight will outperform the largest lumbering suv out there. I proved it with many many people last year who said the same thing. Now put that bad boy on the trails or the rocks and the yota wins hands down.

My '92 Landcruiser: Safariwagon-II
Ive got to admit, since youve bought this ive started looking at them. Though awesome and very capable vehicles i dont know how you can stand the gas mpg. I mean i like v8s but the mpg is bad. But what you have is even worse then any v8 ive ever owned. I would of considered getting one if they didnt say the average one gets 8mpg. Thats awful

Slight coolant leak
I know where its coming from, its typical. There is a small hose behind the water pump that can leak. Everything you are describing, from where the cooland is is what happenes to mine. I believe you need to remove the ps tank in order to get to it. Others will chime in.

Will you help a subaru.
I was sad last night because the 1st major snowfall of the year and for the 1st time since ive owned it my subaru had to sit at home. When i passed it sitting in the parking lot it made me think of typing that. Far as i can tell it needs a complete wire harness from brain to bay and the ECU to go with it.

Will you help a subaru.
Please say youll be the answer for an innocent subaru. A subaru whose suffering right now who needs your help. Please donate to this lowly subaru, a subaru which has no means to frolick in the snow, only to watch other inferior vehicles in its midst. For a small donation you can rescue this subaru and provide essential parts and other amenities to further its awesomeness. Not one subaru should be left to battle these elements alone with no hope. You can be that hope. With every donation you will recieve posted hear a picture of the subaru u donated to, frolicking in the snow. Or possibly delivering this years christmas presents like it has done every year for 5 years. This is your chance to say, i wont sit by and let a subaru suffer. Will you be an angel for a helpless subaru. Every day innocent subarus like this one will sit on the sidelines helpless against what has become of them only to be discarded. Right now this subaru needs you, your donation says your here to help. Dont let one more wasted snowfall happen while this subaru sits helpless on the sidelines. Please:brow:

Maximum Tire Size on 15" Rims + 2" Lift?
I have 27 inch tires with a 2 inch lift. I wouldnt of had to do any cutting if i had the lift on before the tires. I have peugeot wheels so my offset is real close to stock. If your running anything else you will need to cut a bit.
