my personal best is 253k on my (formely mine) white wagon... ran perfect... and its new owner Burtonsnowman drove it 500 miles home the day he bought it.

i have one that came with that Brat i bought. its called "getting dirty" same stuff inside: driving techniques, winch operation, etc. plus lots of yummy subaru pictures.

wow i can't believe i have never seen that thing driving around... must be out in the suburbs somewheres.

its "mirror in the bathroom" by The English Beat thats funny the title reminded me of that song too. back on topic, my 83 wagon and 82 brat both have mirrors, both GL's

yes it does have a tilt feature, but that is not tilted in the picture. That is the slant console found in some 80-81 cars, it accepts a standard DIN cd player with no modification at all. the only catch is some cd players don't like to run at that tilted angle, I haven't had a problem with mine though.

heres one of the (few) recent ones I have, I will update next time I get some: thats when i almost drove off a cliff due to a gnarly tight switchback. don't drive down roads made with tracked vehicles! they can rotate in place and you can't! 83 GL Wagon 28.5" swamper TSLs, 4 Inch lift, welded rear diff, custom tube bumpers, plenty o' lights, weber, CB/PA, roofrack, OD Green paintjob, and plenty of dents.

Gravel Express made one for the JDM version, good luck finding one though... they never made it to the US and I don't think they make em anymore. I tried to find one back when i actually had an impreza.

in the US an 83-84 would have the ea81, not sure about OZ.

the axles are longer, the cups are a different spline count, BUT you can put the longer EA82 shafts on EA81 cups and put those on your Brat. Ask GD, he did it awhile ago. Exxxtra strechy CV's
