  1. it's been hours later and I can't figure out what New Haven has to do with Indiana...
  2. wow... I think that's the first time I've seen a top hat look like that before.
  3. going to do my brakes on tues and I hope I can do the lower balljoints and the other tierod at the same time I hope the driver side lower balljoint will slip right out it was a pain.. nothing budged at all at the time I tried but at least the bolt did not snap with the impact wrench.
  4. anyone can pull a gun on anyone.. So to say it again Then a man came onto the driveway and pulled a gun on me and stole the car.
  5. yeah they would so I'm going to go with those I might order them this upcoming weekend
  6. What I don't get is why only those markets? Would they not be able to keep up with demand?
  7. question does soda blasting work on things like the plastic bumpers?
  8. I think so too :-/ he also said they were not that good.. anything is better then these universal I have in my car now.. when they piss me off enough I just drive without the drivers mat because it just keeps moving upwards. Parts guy is cool
  9. No junk yards near me I'm sure the dealer wants like $100 for one
  10. ugh anyone know the price from the dealer for the Master Cylinder brake cap? I left a message and they never got back to me.. Or if anyone know another cheaper cap that would fit.. it's going to get drilled anyways so cheaper the better.
  11. yeah I noticed that too when I made my first large order from them.. came from 3 locations. I wonder if they do it on purpose? Oh and the brake bleeding process is in what order I forgot where I saw but it says start at the right front wheel? But where do you go after that? yeah found it here at scooby mods http://www.scoobymods.com/bleeding-brakes-t182.html sweet my rear pads just arrived.
  12. Oh well.. I did enjoy the drive and found some nice places to eat at for next weekend sucks I wanted to get started today but rockauto split the order.. the rotors are coming from Buffalo, NY and wont be here until the 24th rear pads come today.
  13. Ah fun times.. I drove all the way out to ace hardware in LI and only to find the same size compression sprayer cheaper at HD only 5 miles from my house.. anyways I got that and the tube but not the brake cap did not make it back in time.
  14. well the only thing left for me to try from what you listed is 89 octane.
  15. Hmmm interesting.. sometimes it feels like I have some heavy hesitation going on best felt when I'm rolling in neutral but then shift into first and apply throttle it's like a dead spot at 1500-2000 rpms my car is a 95 legacy 2.2
  16. You know I went to the dealer for this same reason someone who had the car before me put in aftermarket mats and it bugs me like crazy that it keeps sliding under the clutch or gas pedal.. So I was going to get the all weather mats from the dealer but he was saying they don't fit the car and blah blah.. Anyways he told me to check out weather tech mats says they are better then the Subaru mats but double the price.
  17. that explains why I saw a youtube video of a guy putting that stuff on the bleeder screw at first I was thinking like wow that looks messy! How much brake fluid do I need? is 32 oz enough (one bottle) or do I need a 2nd bottle?
  18. a setup like this? http://faculty.ccp.edu/faculty/dreed/campingart/jettatech/bleeder/index.htm it was hard to picture it last night but I think it's doable.. how much does the dealer charge for a cap anyways?
  19. I brought one of those cheap one man kits (the one with the tiny rump roast bottle and mag mount) it was a huge disaster.. I want to avoid that this time around.
  20. Has anyone used a mityvac for this? I would do the motive power bleeder but they don't have any local and I need to do my brakes this weekend.
  21. lol want something else funny.. lol a guy with a tuck must of saw my shocker logo and he pulled up next to me.. lol so I was walking to to take a drive and I was laughing to myself lol he had a shocker on his truck's rear window too!
  22. Ah ok.. I'm shooting for removing the engine next month so I was just wondering that's all.
  23. you know now that I removed the hoses I finally got to see the back side of my flywheel and seeing how i never had a rubber cover for the access cover on the bell housing. Anyways long story short I see some "junk" that I don't know what is what fell between the back of the motor and the flywheel.. And seeing how I know I never dropped anything in that area it's bothering me now..it was hard to get a good shot. This is the best shot I could get with the phone
