  1. hey Mike if you ever need help moving cars you could always call me up
  2. heck anything JDM for us old schoolers and new schoolers would be cool
  3. I'm gonna be there but not running (no OT this weekend = No $ for rallyX) but my friends will be running this time so gonna do alot of ridealongs for my rallyX fix
  4. ummm thanks for excluding the last full year for the stage 1's (1976) :-p
  5. and you know what I remember the post from that too and one of the first mentionings of subiedar (subie radar) taking effect on someone lol and happy b-day man and noone from this board except for Ed (obvious considering he has the same b-day as I do lol) and Mike said that to me or Ed considering our real b-day was the first day of OTR in the woods what a blast that was hehe
  6. yep it was a blast and the corner we were at on sunday of the event we were at a hairpin and you could tell that Stig Blomqvist (some of you guys prolly recognise that name lol and if not then I could explain it) and Travis Pastrana were hauling and doing it correctly through that corner 6 rolls of film were taken that weekend by my friends (but alas I didn't have my digi cause of my Neices prom and sis-in-law wanting to use the camera at the last moment ) and I will get on the ball soon about seeing when they are developing them and having pic cd's made and in a few of them you guys might enjoy seeing the rock sculptures that my friend and I made in between stages at that hairpin while we were road marshals
  7. I went this year too don't worry and I was working as road marshal this year which was cool and had good corners to watch both days I almost got nailed by a orange WRX though on the second day but friends took 6 rolls of film that weekend and now they want to start a rally team too lol
  8. actualy it's puting a fuse in and it's in the engine bay in the fusebox in there but that is sat up for so that mechanics can run it in 2wd for testing some stuff but I don't know if it will harm the system or what but hopefuly someone more knowledgable will post soon
  9. ok I will keep an eye out for a fender, valance, and a rear bumper but the tail light will be tough cause those are things that get old and brittle over time and people were not careful about that stuff and Elad welcome to our world that the gen 1's were beaten to death by people that offroaded them or worse (alot of the 4wd's including brats that I have seen have crushed subframes underneath for that reason)
  10. Kewl to hear that hope it is another 76 cause if I get to see it then it will be my 4th to see including my own
  11. hey Subieguy what are you looking for right at the moment? cause when I go back onto graveyard a couple friends and I will be heading out to the Subie graveyard that has 2 gen 1 brats that we could see what they have for you
  12. YAY finaly a home for the Rally wagon / mystery machine
  13. well mine isn't all in original condition but I saw a 76 over on Trask River Road over near Tillamook, OR this last weekend during Oregon Trail Rally and it was in decent shape but had some cancer but in original shape with one rip in the drivers side seat and it was for sale but a lil steep for me at $1000 FIRM and I forgot to take pics DOH!
  14. have you tried using a dead blow hammer or even a lead mallet to pound it off?
  15. actualy just emailed a company that deals in Webers and it's just that the company sold to someone else but hopefuly they will still make webers
  16. Actualy Ken I did check with one of the tech inspectors and he said as long as it's not known to be lifted it should slide under the radar so to speak lol but with OBw/beer and My friend Brads lifted leg they are just stiffer springs installed on them so there shouldn't be any lift around corners unless really pushed and that is kinda hard to do cause I have seen my friends leg do some interesting stuff at higher speeds without lifting a single tire (except recently when he lost a pass side rear strut due to lower perch failure and appears no welds at all on that piece) but that was when trying to go around a corner with the right rear control arm on the bump stop
  17. News break the Company that owns weber has gone belly up and was told good luck finding jets or anything for weber carbs so hopefuly there will be alternate ways to get stuff found this out from 2 different stores while trying to find idle jets for my weber so I can mount it on the 83 so now I am asking if anyone has a 60 Primary Idle and 55 Secondary Idle jet and don't want them let me know cause want to mount the carb this week unless I can run a 65 Primary and 60 secondary on the carb cause what it has in there right now is a 45 primary and 50 secondary
  18. it can happen and with the age of the car and such they prolly are the original gaskets and seals you should see the EA-81 that I have taken apart in the garage the seals in the oil pump assy were hard as a rock and snapped in half when twisted so wouldn't be suprised about those seals being shot on yours
  19. lol when I went to Vegas I came back with a mug from cheers and found out when we got home it has a crack in it so now it holds beer bottlecaps just ask Flowmaster he has seen it and he told me that's not enough yet
  20. thanks Mick and good idea Zap and Corky I am now Reg'd but PM with addy and I will try to get a mail order made up soon and looks like I will be by myself (besides the 2 friends that will be coming but I will have them reg by themselves :-p ) cause the Wife might be working (cause Retail SUCKS donkey you know whats that way) but she is making sure I go this time around!!!!! and I am making sure too!!!!
  21. yeah especialy if its with the design they had issues with for water crossing like last year and hey here is mine
  22. yeah sounds like the PCV valve is gone and might run 10w30 or even 15w40 cause the weight your running is a lil light as for seals just reseal the sucker cause if your not leaking from the HG's don't take the motor apart, save the hassle but might do a timing belt change with also new waterpump while you are resealing the motor
  23. you mean this one Mick? cause if so I don't see a linky so how can I get to it without a linky to clicky
  24. ummmm Corky if that is the case posting here would be registration? or where the heck do I go then?
