thanks Ed for posting it and I think it is something that is interesting and also disturbing too cause it is gettin to look more like AutoX for classes and such and man did anyone beside Mike and I see the stuff about protests and also the fines from the event stuart that can be inflicted on someone -

for this I don't care about #'s and all that and not a big fan of Ford except for the GT (NOT the Mustang GT) which is cool and a underdog too but that is the point I have a friend which I will be posting pics of his 02 Leg L with 3 inches lift later on today but he also has a 67 Mustang GT Fastback with the 390 and it puts out just over 400hp at the crank! and it is cool looking and also just found out recently that it was also a Ford factory race car to boot! but he loves his leg better for the handling and being lower on the pucker meter for control too due in part that the HP/Weight ratio is way up there in that stang and that it is hard to control at normal speeds when it is wet out and as far as the new stang I like the looks and it does look like the 67 fastback but it prolly is more comfy and also easier to control than the originals by a long shot and comparing just motors the V-# engines are not as efficient of a design compared to the H-# engines and that is why the differences between HP ratings oh and another thing is the reason why the V-6 is in the lower stangs is due in part to the CAFE laws and all that bull that the automakers have to go through to get away with making monster guzzlers and not have to pay gas guzzler taxes I am suprised that people posting on this thread havn't noticed that before heck that is why ford has the focus :puke and such with better gas mileage to counteract the guzzlers like the Excursion :puke: but with all that said I don't mean to flame anyone I am just bringing what I think to the table for everyone to take into perspective

Back yard ghetto cylinder head resurface
bajavwnsoobnut replied to Scoobaroo's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
and did you hold the glass? or did you have the glass on a table and ran the head over it? and also how thick was the glass cause of the glass can warp just a small amount and make it not perfectly flat but hey good idea but I will still go into work and flycut mine when it is time if they are warped that is (have 2 engines needing resealing right at the moment one for a project and the other to swap into the 83 if I still have it when the time comes around or if it has the original engine when I get around to it and have it ready to install) -
has anyone done this mod
bajavwnsoobnut replied to erik litchy's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...

bajavwnsoobnut replied to ShawnW's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
glad that you made it out of that and I understand how steep that incline is and it can be deceptive for sure and one of the pics showing the xt upsidedown in front of it was that the sun roof! if so WOW you did do a # on it -
Might get in touch with Syrinx on this cause he has done that on his old 79 brat cause of the same thing but he has found a company that sells replacement seals for the sunroofs like yours and also not all subies are glue in's like Seahag has mentioned hers is actualy a gasket just that gen 3 and newer vehichles are glue in's Have FUN!

bajavwnsoobnut replied to NorthWet's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Hwy Northwet you have my #? or still have my addy? if not just drop off what paul has sent with you for me with brad when you buzz on by -
man it's been a long while since someone has brought that up (it was back when we were on EXboard) but you could make a system to hang it overhead in the cargo area or IIRC there should be some mounting points for a net of some sort in the cargo floor so you could theoreticaly make a rack to mount to those and hold your rifles/shotguns

Check your model years!
bajavwnsoobnut replied to WoodsWagon's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I was talking about old school subies not new school and the ones I have seen for manufacture dates it's august for the new model year but when the legacy's started coming out then the model year stuff came all screwed up and also federal mandates changed too so manufacturers could call it a 2005 when it's early 2004 cause it meets the standards and mandates for the 2005 model year constraints held by the EPA and DOT -
