  3. cool lookin justy you could also look into puting the 1.2 liter motor in with FI and go with megasquirt for the FI controller
  4. well untill I deleted everything on the second HD in my comp in the garage (runnin dos 5.1 and a MP3 player that is for dos) it was a interesting mix of techno, heavy metal, hard rock, wierd al, and classic rock sometime later when we get another comp one of the ones in the comp room will be relocated out into the garage and have a wireless card so I can tune into something off the web through winamp and channel it through a receaver that I have somewhere just need speakers for
  5. my first subie a 1991 loyale and man have I changed subies alot or what since this one lol
  6. it is a wagon cause I have a 83 GL wagon sitting just outside right now and it has the same markings and also Slope of the rear hatch cause the hatchbacks had a higher degree slope in the rear and not much of a rear quarterwindow like the wagons and looking at it more looks like a 83 w/o the bumper moldings like my 83 has
  7. I thought that didn't look like a subie for the first pic thats a Renault LeCar! and the second one is of a 80-84 wagon here is what I am talking about for the first pic one I found online: and your dad's:
  8. hmmmm I might do that for the 76 then cause it is vintage
  9. it's ok and would like to see the other pic you said you put up cause it is only showing the one
  10. yeah do you have any other pics cause that sorta says not a subie to me but I might be mistaken sorry if it sounded wierd but please so show more pics if you have some
  11. XSNRG I did notice that too and was going what the.... and there really was a d/r auto then? wierd
  12. ummmm you don't want the green trust me on that (it's actualy a stock color and have seen it a few times) but the gold or red looks good
  13. cool is that your new Rallycross rig?
  14. That's good to hear Mary congrats and you already have a PM from another post about a lil secret *shhhhhh*
  15. LOL and andrew you also have a Fridge of your own too
  16. well for me personaly I would look at some stuff first: 1. How long do I plan on keeping the vehicle. 2. If from a dealership will it have a warranty behind it (used of course cause of new usualy comes with a Warranty) 3. For repairs down the road what will I see and how much. (especialy true for Kia's and won't go there even though I have never owned one and not plannin it either) 4. Payments, are they worth it? 5. the fun factor, basicaly will it put a grin on my face when I drive it or will it make me mad cause of bugs in the system or uncomfortable on any drives(especialy for me since I am 6'5" tall) or just feels like a grandma's car 6. Can I modify anything on the car if I want to and how easy would it be. for me I would go for the 05 but it is a base model compared to the 02 S which has alot of the bells and whistles but is the older design, but which one is the 5 sp in the equasion or are they both autos? for me personaly again I would go with the 5sp cause I like the more direct drive approach
  17. I got the 04 OBS the same time they got their RS and it is good for the money and as they said FAST and when my wife and I pay down some bills I have permission to get my STi lets just say it isn't gonna be new but is gonna be rare over here and oh yeah and also JDM
  18. flipping diffs in some certain transaxles is possible and has been done for many reasons in fact I am always curious if it can be done with a subie tranny so you could actualy make a AWD bug or something like that with all subie parts
  19. good to hear that it found a good home and tell the person about our nice lil site while your at it
  20. nice customer service lol well if I get over that direction I will pop in and ask for ya Tex if they are open
  21. one of the Front wheel bearings is going out and which direction in turns does it get louder?
  22. why not just call them Tex: PRE 18061 SE Division St Portland, OR 97236 - 1067 (503) 619-0055 And here is their website so they might even have a email addy on it http://www.preracing.com/
  23. So was it when you turn on the air conditioning is when you have problems? cause if it is you might want to check the belts and also have the compressor checked too cause it might be failing and dragging the motor a lil bit
  24. This is why I said 83 and newer EA-81 disty's cause of they are self contained and area a 2 wire hookup cause the earlier elecronic disty's had to have the external controller box and that is a pain cause of the wireing involved
