bajavwnsoobnut replied to subaru_styles's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
ok cool your sitting the same height as my friends Lifted Leg then cause his is outback struts with kings -
I can't really answer that hops cause of I have the EA-65 1300cc motor with a EA-71 jetted carb on it so it runs a lil bit rich
-
well I am going during morning run so it's going to be 9am to whatever time it finishes for the day lol as for your lifted back if you want to run it will be an iffy due to the fact that they have changed the rules on lifted vehicles and I don't even know if the lifted leg is gonna be able to run but I am also bringing my Imp just in case for my friend to run but I am also gonna be runnin my imp anyways

was it a mudrat lift or was it the same way I did my friends lifted leg? -
yeah you should be able to easily time it after the swap as long as you don't go off a tooth or 2
-
thanks guys yeah he loves it now and has no troubles with it offroad next thing up besides finishing wireing up the Rallitek light bar is to make a snorkle for it

well the lights are the black connector relays so try those for them -
well just the struts will give you 1 inch lift and the ability to fit larger tires onto the vehichle like say a 205/75 15 up to a 235/75 15 I think and he is running a 205 right now but there is plunty of room left to stuff more tire in but I would recommend the 205 personaly without springs and might call your local auto parts store and see how much the struts for a 00 outback would run cause of the dealership ones are $$$ cause of being a 02 it isn't in the books yet and thanks to WJM for getting us a sweet deal on them it cost like 310 and change for them with shipping and the springs were 125 for the set thanks to Sean at rallitek for pointing out the ones they had on consignment but IIRC they are like 250-300 for new ones from austrailia their site is www.kingsprings.com if you want to look on there

well I was scanning them from photos so I am limited in size also considering those are cropped due in part that this one: had a thumb on the upper part of the pic and it was taken sideways but there is the larger version of that photo and to let you guys know it was done with King Springs from Rallitek's consignment loft and Legacy Outback struts to let you know ahead of time you will need alot of time to do the springs unless you have a 550 lb/ft impact wrench due in part that the kings are 2-3 times heavier springrate than the stock springs and also the rear struts are a pain to get in cause of the rear suspension is preloaded and we had to sacrifice the cars jack to stretch the susp. to get the bottom bolt in but other than that piece of cake and a bolt on to boot and it's right now an experiment cause of the outback shims are not in so we are hoping that there will not be any hyperextension of the cv's cause if that happens it is gettin the OB 1 inch shims for the sub frames and such Edit: also forgot to mention 11 inches under the rear diff and like 14-16 for the bumpers

I am gonna try to make it hope there is parking down there cause of I can't afford to do the smartpark thingy but I will try still cause class will be done early (yay) and I will buzz by Rallitek with a friend in tow so he can get his light bar for the lifted leg -
I will post it or Ed will don't worry spiffy and wave gosh darn it lol but yeah it's a SCCA RallyCross so everyone is able to run and it's going to be over at the Washington County Fairgrounds on the 20th and if you are wanting to run you will hafta be there at about 8-9 am for tech and such but I don't have all the details as of yet cause they are even scrambling about now cause of they just got the Fairplex back for just this event
