Larger radiator for my EA82T?
If you want to keep it the stock configuration you could go with a new twin core rad that is in stock in your state http://www.usaradiator.com/SUBARU--LOYALE--1990.html As of a couple months ago in stock in NM at 182.00 ( part number 1269 ) My rx has the same issues under boost, you can add an intercooler and there are a couple different ways to go also..tmic,waic etc. You can also modify the core support to go with a Legacy radiator but you typically have to go to hood pins as you have to cut the support quite a bit.

Thinking of buying a RX and have a question
Ive heard of it being used in hotter climates, but a tmic or fmic would be a good way to go. You can also get new metal tank twin core radiators for the rx's for 180.00. http://www.usaradiator.com/SUBARU--LOYALE--1990.html part number 1269 fits the rx and alot of the L series.

Thinking of buying a RX and have a question
Alot of good stuff in this thread, both pro and con for the ea82T. I have an 89 rx, a lot of fun to drive when it runs well, awesome in snow and ice, and EASILY KILLED by overheating. I would recommend a rx as a toy, a vehicle to upgrade etc. I would not recomend one as a daily driver unless it is has low miles or has had a ton of work.

Olympia, Wa has seats-need help shipping..
Shipping will definately be more than the purchase price, but if ya gotta have em . I live about a 1.5 hours drive from Oly, but will be around weekends only. I would think about any truck line will handle the shipment, need to check if any will handle a "freight collect" haul for a private individual vs a business. Let me know if I can help. I think the biggest hurdle is getting the stuff packaged for shipping and wether it would be UPS'able or not. You might check and see if there is a business in the "pack and ship business" in Olympia.

http://www.ch601.org/engines.htm Heres a link to a fsm for the ea82t motor, but as recommended above getting the factory service manuals are the way to go..ebay usually has several subaru manuals listed.- 1992 Loyal runs poor at start up
same issue with my rx, it has an aav aux air valve that was plugged off. ran horrible until warmed up then ran great. ( turbo ea82 )- New Jeep bumper but can you see the problem
Salvage title and a hit...bet if you had on level concrete you could do some measuring floor to frame to body and find where its out of whack, that large bumber probly accentuates the problem.- New Jeep bumper but can you see the problem
suspension shouldnt have anything to do with it, its a frame - body issue..something has to be bent/twisted. Has a body lift been installed ?- Build Thread for my 1978 Wagon...
...mid engine EJ20T....- brand newish 97 OB w/auto
